| My first job was working in a concession stand. I was 14 and was paid 5 bucks an hour. When I was 16 I got a job as a lifeguard and got a 2 dollar raise. Easy peasy. |

I have/had my life guard certification in Denmark. Oddly the pool I applied to wouldn't accept it so I asked them if people drowned differently in the US than in Denmark. The manager didn't answer but still didn't hire me. :mad: |

Well you probably could have taken a short course and/or recertified by taking the test downtown at the Pool management center on Jefferson street or whatever and gotten the job. :)

Yeah, this is a widespread problem that isn't quite so easy to fix without zombie drugs. If your kid has ADD that would suck. |
