Dude I highly suggest that you don't drink in the parking lot but if you do be very low key about it and just be careful man.
I had a very unpleasant incident happen in the parking lot directly in front of Avalon last May when I went to go see James Zabiela. Myself and 2 other friends got to that parking lot around like 10 and it was pretty empty at the time and we parked and sat there for about 10-15 minutes just chilling and drinking some beers and my friends smoked a quick bowl and then out of ing no where a cop car rolls up into the parking lot all fast and parks right behind my car and tells me to get out right away and then proceeds to cuff me, he then does the same to my friends and has us all line up against the wall of the building next to the parking lot. Long story short he said he we shouldn't be drinking in the parking lot like that and he gave us all drinking in public tickets that came out to about 200 bucks each, he didn't say about my friends smoking bud and left their pipe and bud in my car haha, he just poured out our beer and told us to put the rest of the un opened alcohol in the trunk and that they better not see me driving any time soon out of there. ruined my night and I couldn't fully enjoy myself in the club, this same thing happened to an acquaintance of mine few months later at Avalon. I hope these were just isolated incidents.
I'm just saying be careful and watch out for the dick hollywood police looking to make some money for the city. |

I know I don't really post here much but I would like to meet more of you :)
I only know Garren and I briefly met him and talked for like a few minutes lol at last May's Markus show. Hopefully we can chat longer this time man! |

Damn dude, that is ty! Thanks for sharing. Will be avoiding that route. I recommend mixing with an energy drink or juice or something so it's less obvious, rather than blatantly having beers or liquor out. Another alternative is parking up the street where it's less obvious. I'm totally down for the drive & pre-drink but you gotta be careful! |

Yeah we should have been smarter about it but I really had no idea that was going to happen and that the cops were on the look out for people posting it in parking lots. Just trying to warn you guys, wouldn't want any of you to have to pay 200 bucks for a stupid ticket or even worse get taken to jail which I highly doubt would happen but you never know some cops are straight s! |
