Then again I think this is the place where He found the Video where Trance Went wrong... I could be wrong.
I remember back in 2005 when I first discovered Markus at the Music Box. Since then I have seen Markus over 100 times. It is amazing to see where he went from then... to where he is now! :)
This last year when Markus saw that video he changed his style from that beautiful deep beautiful driving melodic progressive trance/house to this angry empty boring douch trance/ trouse, techno "unicorn slayer" stuff. My heart sunk, and I became lost and board.
From reading his blogs and stalking on twitter/facebook I had a feeling that this "unicorn slayer" phase was all most over. IMO he is slowly coming out of it and getting back to what he really loves and what his fans fell in love with him the the first place. ( I am not the only hard-cor fan that did not like his new style)
The set he played on Sunday made me experience the same feelings I had back in 2005. The music surrounded me and moved me. I danced and stayed till the end and could have gone longer. I left with such a musical high. I am part of the Schulz Army and also part of the Schulz family! :D |

if you thought that about sunday, you would have been blown away by saturday's set (i think you said you couldn't make it on saturday, right?) ... although i totally get your point about the 'unicorn slayer' sound, i personally like that side of markus as well as the older coldharbour sound, and thought he did an incredible job meshing the two on saturday. now if he only would have played 'remember magnetic north' at the end... :whip: :whip: haha |

I've been listening to the Sunday set and it makes me wanna be there. :( I used to like Markus after he first came to LA and opened up for Armin at the Henry Fonda. Then I stopped listening to trance, but this set is good!
