Jealous of all those who went to this event. Markus is my favorite producer and DJ.

i know you were being facetious, but i can't see how markus could do what he does if he was messed up for every gig. he's a professional :)

I have no doubt that if Markus were using chemicals every gig he would have burned out a long time ago and would have been far less productive.

I am totally amazed by this man's energy. Traveling around the world, playing 5+ hour sets routinely, AND producing full albums... I guess if you love your work, it isn't work at all. Every time I have seen him live he always has a smile and always appears enthusiastic.

I haven't seen him that many times live, but here is my favorite Markus moment (typical, happy Markus):

I do agree that Markus has an insane passion for what he does and that if used some narcotic consistently he would show the reprocussions of it (aka Deadmau5' numerous cancelled shoes due to "sickness" or other health issues). That being said, I was there from 11-6:30 last night and saw some serious jaw clenching at points from Markus lol especially toward the end of the night. Not to judge the man, I don't know how anyone can perform 10+ hours one night and then another 7.5+ hours combined the following night without some assistance of some sort....and red bull only gets you so far! Regardless, Markus is an amazing DJ/Producer and I am more and more impressed by his work every time I see him. His set did not let up....ever. Last night at the Avalon was one of my favorite nights out in a long time, well worth some exhaustion today

Haha nice, so we're not the only ones with clenched jaws! :D :p

Ovbiously he wouldn't admit to it on TV, but he did have an interview with MTV in Las Vegas last year where he stated he has never done drugs in his life.

Either way, Markus is an amazing DJ and truly sets the bar. His passion for the music, the scene, and most importantly his fans is what makes him (in my books) as one of the best ever. Great to hear you guys had an awesome time last night. What a journey!

That was Omnia featuring Melissa Loretta - Halo (if that was the last song you wanted to know about before they went to LA).

What an incredible journey we were taken on last night. Soooo glad I was able to be a part of it. 10.5 hour set was unreal, heard lots of banging new tunes and the LA12 tracks sounded amazing live, I really liked the beginning part of the set when he was playing lots of dark progressive tracks, I got in around 10 and stayed all the way till the very last track was played at 8 in the morning. I got some pretty good videos of the beginning and middle parts of the set. My video camera battery died sometime around 2 in the morning which I was kinda bummed about but plenty of other people took some good videos, I tried to record alot of the ID tracks I heard, next time i'm taking a second battery.

Here for night 2. Starting to get really crowded and definitely more of a 'rave' crowd but not necessarily a bad thing. A lot more energy w the youngins :) also jochen miller has some nice energy.

And markus on drugs. Highly doubt it. Your a professional and you prep for it. He's had a lot of time off this year so far from traveling.
