Too bad its at BBR though, was awesome seeing him last time at Revival, so small and intimate. Gotta love how Mr. & Mrs. Hawtin made an appearance as well :P |
His 'rents come out to most of his Windsor shows... even without Richie, they'll come support a M_nus artist when they come through Windsor.
Revival was nice and small, but it's also BBR's 7th year anniversary and kicking off their weekend celebrations. Lots more planned for the following days and weekend at BBR as well :) |

| No gigs between Nov 8- 12? Does that mean there's a possibility of Richie Hawtin, Loco Dice, Carl Craig having individual gigs at other clubs? |

Probably have solo individual DJ gigs elsewhere in the world on their own...
OR... they could just need to rest for a few days after 10gigs in a row with travel. |

I actually found it weird that they called this a college tour, but 90% of these are not, in fact, on any campus. |

Didn't ANYONE read the actual article, or just got hardons from the tour dates and Richie'Fever?

Then there’s the fact that this will not only be an educational experience on the dancefloor, but CNTRL: Beyond EDM will also combine educational daytime lectures focusing on the techno and technology aspects of modern-day electronic music.
Richie Hawtin will talk about the use of technology to control creativity, Hawtin’s sound technician, Johannes Krämer, will discuss the importance of sound quality, Loco Dice will rep what it means to be an old-school DJ wrapped in modern technology, Ean Golden from DJ Tech Tools will talk digital DJing and controllerism. There’s a bunch of special guest speakers and artists lined up for this. |

It will be interesting to see how they promote this.
I have never been to The Hoxton either, but I might have to check this out. Hawtin, Dice and Craig is a serious line-up. |

I wonder if they're gonna be hosting the lectures at the UofT or in conjunction with the Royal Conservatory of Music.
I'm also interested in attending the lectures too lol. Then get my dance on afterwards :D |
