I did a quick read while there and read that lemon and ginger would help. I had exactly that in gelato form. funny thing was I had some a few days prior...wonder if that helped keep it at bay so to speak. :conf: then I went to the "pharmacy" and got lomotil(read that online too). worked like a charm! I wasnt feeling so hot the morning of the day we left, we went out(souvenir shopping for our kids) and I ate the gelato, took the pills and by the time we were on the plane, I was much better.

I can tell my stomach is recovering but for the most part, I am better. my husband is still dealing with it a little but we all know guys cant handle being sick. I was BAD too. both ends(sorry for the tmi) but I got thru it.

Im still here, leaving tonight. Great weather all week, and great music. Dubfire and Maceo Plex had the best sets of the week IMO. Diggers was great, and the Guy Gerber B2B seth Troxler at the Mamitas closing party was good.

Everybody has been sick all week. I never really caught it but all my friends did. The wristbands are TOTALLY worth it. If a party is a cluster or whatever, you can walk next door to another. If that one sucks, head back over to the last. I love that everything is walking distance, and the drinks are cheap.

Did anybody see Marco Corola all night long at blue parrot? After about 1am, he continually cut the bass out of EVERY single track he played for hours. Without exagerrating, he prob play more music with no bass than with bass. It was so frustrating and confusing why he would do that over and over and over again. Cutting the bass for minutes at a time. We finally couldnt take it anymore and left, came back at 6am and it was the same nonsense.

Sadly, his next days special guest was joseph capriatti at canibal royal, didnt find out til after it was over, would have loved to see him.

good reviews guys.. what is coco Maya? I see Pink Elephant is no more.. how big is this club you think? Blue Parrot is about 2000 I think unless they expanded it from 2012

Carola party got really good after about 5. From 5-10am was amazing. My buddy was spending a fair amount for bottle service, went on stage and demanded he stopped cutting the bass. Was pretty funny. He didn't get kicked out either. That was so weird. The party the next day was great. Capriatti played some good tunes. Very relaxing party.

EXACTLY what Loco Dice did... so boring I left for a while.... and it wasn't better when i return 1.5 hours later. luckily the last 2 hours of Dice's set were good but it took so freaking long to get there it wasn't worth it.

Funny thing is people cheering each time he dropped the bass in. Why? because they actually heard something different than a minimal beat on low volume the prior 5 minutes! :whip: :whip:

Good times. Best "party week" in North America by far. Great crowds and great music. Really reminded me of Ibiza. No rules down there. No bouncers that I noticed. You really felt free to do whatever you want.
Great food. Great beaches. Great everything really.

If you can't afford Ibiza I would highly recommend doing BPM. It is really, really good. And everything is open air which makes everything better.

I got the "BPM Bug" as well. Luckily I got it on a day that I had scheduled for a rest day. So I spent most of the day feeling pretty ty and pissing out the butt. The next day I felt better, took some pepto and Immodium and I was back in action. It really wasn't that bad and seems like a freak thing. Def not something that would keep me from coming back.

So many hot girls too :eyes:

My fav party might have been Circoloco

finally had my first solid poop in about 48 hours.

USA BABYYY!!!

Luciano was my favorite night. Maybe because it was our first night out but he definitely kept us going. He has a really great personality behind the booth.

Sasha is still our hero. I lost faith in him for a couple of years but his set at Kool Beach re-energized us. The crowd was totally in to his set. You had to be smack dab in the middle (nuts to butts) to really experience it. The vibe was just amazing. On our way back we saw him chilling on the corner with some friends. ing AWESOME!! He looked totally hammered (but still totally cool).

Now that my bung hole is getting back to normal, I take back what I said earlier and may consider BPM next year.

I recommend Imodium, that locks you up for a few days. I let the sickness flow thru me a day, and once I was sure I shat every drop inside my body, I popped Imodium and was fine. Of course I took it easy on my stomach with food and drinks, but I could party just fine :D

Did anybody make the blue venado party with Tenaglia and Lazarus? Wished I had done that over Corola. Best nights for me were the CircoLoco and Dubfire nights. Im def doing a condo style spot next year, the all inclusive Gran Porto Real was not worth the money and un-entertaining unless you are from wisconsin with a family of 6.

The Robot Heart crew was there and did a rad beach party. Im thinking the El Taj next year, and a few days at cozumel.
