Techno is not electronic music, it is a sub genre of electronic music, but it is not electronic music. America has nothing to do with electronic music, without America electronic music still exists, however without electronic music most American music ceases to exist. The reality Electronic music is not American, is the first Americans to embrace electronic music were black Americans, like Afrika Bambtaa (he predates Techno btw). Americans can say that they followed black music(which they have stolen & imitated thruout your countrys history ), which was a imitation inspired, & influenced by European Electronic music.

(that is a rhetorical question) What they do is buy off some people & make their own scene it is called "EDM", look who is apart of EDm people like Daft Punk, Tiesto, Deadmau5,& no names (those guys are sellouts to the genres they really are in tho). |

LOl, I see what you did there, that was sneaky. What was so impressive about the tour? Let me guess it was the stage show, not the music. Flying pyramids with eyes, then EDM is born, it is like it was planned by the American music industry.
The connection to Kanye West song is Atrak, because Atrak "suggested" to Kanye to remix it. Atrak btw is a Urban turntablist, who was never part of the electronic music scene, he did not even know about it, he still doesn't. The Kanye West song was promo/buzz/marketing gimmick, if you look at Atrak he is calling himself a "EDM' dj, & producer, & talking on the scene he was never apart of. His output has been "Barbara Streisand" & "Big Bad Wolf", which is akin to Daft Punks music, cheesy Euro, so his opinion is mute (as in silent). |

I have not gone off topic tho, I talked about the Daft Punk song, & Daft Punk, I answered the initial question of this thread, I was the first to actually respond to this thread, go back to the 2nd post. Some of you just got emotional because I said they are not electronic music, which is true, they are French Urban Disco House. |
