From the FB page:

Electronic Nation is proud to announce Brrrrr! Winter Music Festival set to take place at Echo Beach (Ontario Place), February 1st & 2nd, 2013. Inspired by Montreal’s Igloofest, Brrrrr! Winter Music Festival will celebrate the winter season with a unique outdoor electronic dance event that will combine cutting edge music with next level visual art experiences. Music will focus on House and Techno.
The main outdoor stage will be accentuated by a 3D set design and the second stage will be an indoor heated dome with VIP zones. Stay tuned for daily artist announcements beginning December 3rd.

Two day festival passes start at $40 (plus service fees) and VIP passes are available for $99 (plus service fees).

Cool.

but I ask, when will this bubble burst?
hax-a-million
i feel that a big contributor to the bubble is out of control ticket prices. obviously caused by out of control booking fees (at least to a certain extent, can't rule out greedy promoters). $40 for a 2-day pass seems like a very reasonable price and based on that price, odds are good that the acts will be the types that don't charge an arm and a leg to perform.

given their past booking my guess is the heated dome will be like the base stage and hopefully echo beach will be majority techno. also hoping for less acts and longer sets. my only concern is how the sand/snow will be on the beach!
Adamo
interesting. very curious to see the lineup and subsequent interest generated in this event. sure it works in Montreal but its a completely different ballgame in Toronto.

What do you mean by "bubble?" All the festivals?

So down for Moby, Dubfire and C&C!!! After Googling Miss Kitten, sounds like I'll want to see her too!
LightsOut
Miss Kitten is the standout for me so far. Mody/Dubfire/C&C are nothing special and here regularly enough, hoping some new bookings will follow.
The Rattler
I am unbelievably excited. I'd like to see different names for once but Dubfire, C&C outside during winter? Sounds goot!
hardcore trancer

Yea. I feel like this whole influx of festivals in the last 18 months is a ticking time bomb. The only reason they exist is because this music is so vogue right now.
