sheesh, $35 is really ok for this.
the additional $20 pales in comparison to the price of going down, and esp. the price to stay somewhere.
somehow inapprpropriate, IMO, to crash at a buds, let alone family, by tumbling in at 6+ AM for a crash if cheapskating it...
As to EDC afterparties, see this comment from Pacha:
