I would be shocked if this went past 12. No way the city would allow it.

thought about heading up there to do this, decided to book a flight and a penthouse ( this place is cheap) to meet up with my boy to stay in Medellin, Colombia for a whole week. And it was less money. Made it an easy decision especially considering how bad EDC Orlando was aside from the techno stage.

Last years super early bird pass was $219 total cost.
This years was $319 total cost.
+50%!

yeah transportation is in that, and the ferry is nice-- in theory.

But the ferry lines suck, getting To R.I., and even worse, getting off the island.
Plus getting to the terminal sucks too compared to the 125th St.

So, IMO, not worth anything, wish the pass would be offered WITHOUT transportation.

Ditto for the EZoo bus, did you see those ing lines last year?

Always took the subway, and paid the extra couple bucks for the M83(?). Only way to go for speed.

No such thing as a ripoff in the entertainment business. If people are willing to pay a ton of money for a lame party...

avoiding like the Zoo and spending your money on good events just makes it easier to consistently have a good time.

Does anyone have an update as to why the festival is 2 days this year instead of 3? Are they planning to let it go later into the night than last year as rumored or does it just have to do with the Met's baseball/Citi Field event schedule? Or are they planning on releasing Sunday tickets like they did with Friday tickets last year?

I think they scaled down the event this year. Ezoo may have gotten the upper hand this year. There is zero hype around this event between expanded Ezoo and Tomorrowland.

between ... Ezoo and Tomorrowland.

how are you combining those two?
Is there really any meaningful crowd overlap, I mean many. many thousands of people?
can't see it given the logistics and money.

Plus even if, that has to be a one-way street:
US going to Belgium, but Europeans coming just for EZoo in droves?

I have no idea what you're trying to say.

So US Tomorrowland is at end of September, Ezoo is at beginning of Sept.

EDC NY is middle of May.

I think the reason we aren't seeing any hype yet is they haven't even released single day tickets? It's only March. They're basically saying "we know that we have a brand name and just by releasing tickets we will still sell them in bunches without any sort of lineup."

I'm really not sure what I'm actually trying to say either though.

how about just assuming that without the "US" out front, like in M3's post above, I had thought you meant Tomorrowland, you know the one in Belgium.

I had "heard" mere whispers of some sort of brand-name extension, so much for the hype in my ears (whatever the hell I'm saying with that)

Of course with an early Sept to late Sept. comparo, as you meant, comment makes sense.

Hope mine does too, if you think Belgium in Summer vs Randall's Island labor day...

peace!
