That's ok to each their own. Bayern pretty much bent us over and raped us. They are the better team as of right now. Hopefully when I come down the 18th there will be a trance event. Although I haven't seen anything yet. :(

how about that lewandowskI, that was a serious performance tonight...

yea man his set was a real journey set
i loved how the opener played an OPENING set
joof came on and built it up from there
deep dark prog trance then some nice tech stuff and even some full on techno
his last hour was a lil too hard for my liking, but i still enjoyed it
he is such a cool guy, he is never gonna sell out for a status, money, fame, trophies etc etc
so glad i went to this party, hope it dont take him another few years to come back to nyc
i would love to see him spin at output
him in that room and on that system man oh man!

p.s what was the name of that timewave track he played?

Great to hear he has not sold out; I hope this trouse-dubstep sound passes soon enough. Also, great to see another venue other than Pacha or Webster (especially Pacha)being used. And, I agree, Output should be the place he spins when he returns (I have been wanting to check this place out). I hope he returns soon enough, since I missed him Saturday. It was just such bad timing since I had something else that night.

just curious, what else is in DC over that weekend?

Considering the issues with Echostage, it's not just for JW I guess?

Esp. considering Wink's in NYC on 5/10, with Tanzmann :) ??
(Ok, know that people dislike HB, but...)

Yeah, Lewandowski took it to Madrid. He was a runaway train that Madrid had no answer to. I kind of hope for Dortmund to win it all, as the chances of them losing more players to bigger club spending is pretty apparent. Bayern is going to be around for awhile, I still don't understand how they ed up last years final. :conf:

There are no real issues with Echostage, it's a great venue. Very excited to see Carl Cox and DT there.. I think the only downside could be the crowd.. but I was gonna have to put up with that anyway for EDC so no loss there...

My group is making a weekend out of it... we all decided to nix EDC and figured we might as well stay for WInk in DC and check out U Hall the next night.

Sounds like Lewandowski is leaving Dortmund as well. I don't think it has been officially announced where. A Bayern x Dortmund final is looking like how this will shape up, which is what I've been hoping for. After last year, I was hoping that Bayern make a come back this year to win but if they face Dortmund, I might have to cheer for Dortmund.

Maybe we should start an official ongoing soccer/football thread. :)
