I think the problem here, which I kind of want my self is most these headliners above in Sunday School usually leave it with a bang hard techno/tech house high energy...with Digweeds signature sound it could be hard i guess but more about the progression/journey might leaving ppl wanting more at the end of the night |

I was speaking more in terms of production. Comp CDs are kinda eh. I dunno if you can even call that a "Headline" for demf and his Ibiza party is one of the smaller one on the island. I'm not saying he sucks, I love him, there are just bigger names out there. |

Carl Cox doesn't produce much either anymore. Before Involv3r, Sasha was putting out maybe two/three tracks a year... productions don't necessarily dictate anything.. they've reached that point in their career where they can tour and focus on their label and still headline despite the infrequency of new tracks.
Digweed is closing out DEMF, how is that not a headliner? You're just nitpicking to prove your point.
I'm not saying that he's "the biggest name out there," I was responding to your "what has he done recently" remark.
You're a ty Digweed fan if you don't realize how important Bedrock is as a label. |

Why is it that every single post has to turn into a flame war? Don't get me wrong, I am a veteran of the internets so it doesn't surprise me, but originally when I signed up for these boards it was a way to get away from all the stuff you hear in the mainstream. Now it's sounding so much of the same. Digweed isn't a headliner? Because he hasn't produced anything in a while? I guess if Led Zeppelin played at Bonnaroo they wouldn't be a headliner either?
What? I don't follow the logic.
And no I'm not hating. I'm just trying to understand all the lineup hate (which I said way earlier). |

Yeah Digweed only had a slot in the Cox tent at Ultra that was AFTER Jamie Jones. He only throws one of the baddest parties every year at Cameo during WMC, and more importantly, his music and sets are in badass. Who gives a what the flavor of the month is? Isn't it supposed to be about, you know, the music after all? BTW, had more than a couple of people tell me that Digweed outplayed even Moudaber and Beyer at Awakenings. It doesn't get much bigger than that. |

Agreed. I haven't been following this thread, but generally there is a lot of artist/line-up flame wars on this board. I suspect it's because there a lot of DJs who think their music choices are superior to other. Just saying... |

Its ok if you don't like him any more, cause that's how it is. sometimes your ears look for something different and its ok to move on, but don't consider yourself a fan and say that you "love" him cause if you don't realize that he's on top of at the moment and for that reason he is massively requested, then your not a real fan. but whatever, you know... that's like, your own opinion man. |

lol I do like him, always had...I especially like how he's incorporated deep house into his sets. I just think there are a lot of other djs doing bigger, more exciting things. I dunno why people are getting butthurt. |
