What do you consider a "normal Muslim"? He didn't just say you don't want extremist terrorists. He said you don't want Muslims who don't speak English, and don't integrate into your society by basically abandoning the practices of their own culture.
What he said was so ludicrously extreme and exaggerated you can even see Hal immediately pointing it out to be blatant trolling. |

And notably there are others who disagree. Unless you can unspool a comprehensive explanation of Islamic faith that unequivocally demonstrates why one side has the correct reading you are merely a prat who is boiling down an extremely complicated and controversial theological debate into "Nowhere in any text of the Islamic faith is any part of this advocated for or suggested".
Of course it is wrong to label all Muslims as supportive of terrorism, but why the do you have to jump from there to utterly moronic and obviously incorrect statements such as "Muslim culture doesn't involve any sort of terrorist act"? Rampant ing stupidity like that just gives ammunition to the bigots and undermines the relativist position, and it also prevents any kind of lucid and progressive debate from ever arising around this issue, a debate that might actually solve some of these problems. |

theyre basically one and the same, to a certain degree
these people that come over here, dont bother to work, live off our benefits, get free housing in and amongst like-minded muslims. dont socialize or even attempt to acknowledge the british people. these people that hate how we do things here so protest against it.. i.e having christmas trees put up in town centre's etc.
theyre living here purely for a free ride, and hate everything about our western life. and they listen to these hate mongers, these clerics, that spout on about our women being harlots for dressing how a western woman would. etc etc etc.
a lot of muslims arnt like this. and theyre the ones which we dont mind being here |

Are you sure their rejection of British culture isn't in response to the racism and bigotry focused towards them already? |

It's those kinds of ideas that people like Marcus seem to advocate, and I think they're completely idiotic. Immigrating to a country does not mean you abandon your culture and completely assimilate into the country you're immigrating to. |
