Hungary's Jobbik, Greece's Golden Dawn.... Both focus on Nationalism. It is a complex issue, but part of the issue is minorities not acting civilized.
Rejection of multiculturalism is bigotry. It's all but saying "our culture is right, and yours is wrong, so we don't want you here." You sound like the kind of person who wants to build a wall around the US so no foreigners can get in.
People immigrating into a country isn't forced multiculturalism. The US wouldn't exist without foreigners with different cultures immigrating here. In fact, our cultures basically just took over the ones that were already there. It sounds like you'd agree with the Manifest Destiny idea that slaughtering anyone who's different because you don't like their culture is okay.

In Britain live the British. Any minority, from anywhere, if it wants to live in Britain, to work and eat in Britain, should speak English, and should respect the British laws. If they prefer Shari’a Law, then we advise them to go to those places where that's the state law. Britain does not need minorities. Minorities need Britain, and we will not grant them special privileges, or try to change our laws to fit their desires, no matter how loud they yell 'discrimination'

Yes, integration shouldn't be a choice. Laws must be obeyed, not adjusted to suit foreign culture.
