Diva presets (REQUEST)

Can anyone hook it up with some Diva presets? I only have the Rob Lee and PlugHugger stuff. Just lost my job so can't be spending money on presets at this time.

Alternatively, you'll now have plenty of time on your hands to learn how to program sounds yourself.

It's a long story....I'm a registered nurse. Just relocated to a different state and the board here is making me wait to get my license. They issued me a 4 month temporary license for a process that takes 1 year. So, I can't practice without a license, so no more job. All I have ever done is nursing, I don't know how to do anything else. So now I must wait for the board to give me my license, or relocate. Havn't decided.

In the mean time, I'd like to work on some tracks and not focus too much on sound design. Like most people, I use presets as a starting point and go from there.

Thanks for the advice on getting a job though and programming my sounds, those were some quite clever and unexpected comments.

That sucks. :(

I rarely buy preset packs, so I'm not aware of any other Diva presets. But, you don't need to learn full-on sound design to get more from all the presets that you already have. Start with the simplest things: call up a preset, change some of the waveforms, or the octave, detuning, etc. Then play around with the filter section: change the type, cutoff, resonance, and envelope settings. That's probably less time and effort than it takes to flick through a bank of presets.

Also, you might want to try searching the U-he subforum on KVR for "free Diva presets" or something similar (if you haven't already).

If you'd have said you were looking for free presets then it wouldn't be a big deal, but it looks like you're looking for links to commercial stuff.

commercial or free, either or. I'm over the whole music snobbery thing. I pour all my extra money into music related stuff. These are not durable goods were talking about. Let's be clear, nobody is losing any money here. Don't forget I used to run a label so I see things a bit differently. I would have never been able to afford them in the first place. In fact, I've actually gone back and spent more money on specific items because of a good experience with the first item. For example, I "acquired" SOR Kick Free Revolution Volume 1. I loved it so much that I bought Volumes 2 and 3. Without ever getting 1, 2 and 3 are never purchased.

I'm pretty much all legit now anyway. Obviously I cannot afford Waves Mercury, but not many can, and its surely not worth the asking price. Besides the hybrid series and Kramer tape, that I plan to purchase, I prefer Ableton plugs.

you were caught with your hand in the cookie jar weren't you. I mean there is a reason people stay away for the length you did and then just come back and i have a feeling you were either in prison, in rehab or in the gutter.

There is stuff you just don't talk about and asking from free is just kinda sad. I have 2 licenses for waves mercury.

Don't get a job. Use the connections you made in prison and start throwing raves and use them as a platform to sell meth.

But ya, without a job, your only job is to be cool and asking for free isn't cool.

Nah man, I've been good to go to be honest. Everything was going great, but my personal life really doesn't matter much here? I never said they had to be commercial. They can be free. I know there are members who post here like alanzo who have commercial banks who probably wouldn't care to give it out. have received other commercial banks directly from the person who made them on this forum before, so lets do that again. not sure everyone wants to just focus on the negatives. I didn't spell out that I want so and so's preset packs. I can't believe people are actually getting hissy pissy over some sample packs lmao

Well you obviously won't mind if all your labels releases are ignored in favour of the free route then will you.

Spoken like an addict :p Although I admit I like those ping pong ball tricks you learnt during that stint in Riker's.

WTF? And why have you not offered one to me before :conf:
You know I'm going to hook you up when you move out west.

@everyone else, no need to bust his chops over a couple of soundbanks. He actually buys a lot of his stuff so when he's jobless and looking for some free presets, it's not like he's drowning puppies.

That is ing bull.

I, and several of my peers make the majority of their living out of presets and soundbanks.

He's not ing entitled to anything just because he's jobless, just like I'm not when I have a slow month.
