Post some then, because I don't think that's true at all. The number of people prescribed anti depressants, anti anxiety drugs, and ADD medication has skyrocketed. If people were so afraid to speak up that wouldn't be the case. |
Not at all. There is a huge difference between talking to your doctor, which is confidential, and talking to your family, friends, and co-workers/employers. All of those have different varying levels of emotional proximity and corresponding bonds of trust.

This was found through a quick two minutes of searching. You can find plenty more out there. Good luck finding articles arguing that the stigma is basically gone. |

Right, because who else would want to participate in a study about stigmatization other than people who have been stigmatized.
That study was also done in Brazil and had only 500 participants. Not exactly a strong sample. |

| Big tobacco also had many studies illustrating the benefits of smoking cigarettes. Just because there are studies supporting your claim, that doesn't begin to make it a solid fact. |

So you should wait until someone ing commits you or finds you in your apartment because of the smell? |
I never said you shouldn't gauge it yourself, if you're able to. Bipolar people usually are committed during their manic episodes. So either you gauge it yourself, or hopefully have someone around to gauge it for you. |
