what i meant was lawler is playing ryze next week right, so i think its doubtful he will be booked in this city again (for the summer months, the months we want him here for)... the press realese said they will try and book the biggest djs to play at guv from now until it closes... and Lawler imo is prbly 1 of 3 biggest djs that ink booked at guv... he was so popular and made ink so much money that ink signed him to a quaterly residency (i think in 2009)... they even gave him his own event (the viva canada day partis, a total of 4)...

so im calling bull on ink that they are even trying to book the biggest/popular djs to play at guv....

make sense big boy?

I believe i seen on facebook today that Steve Angello made a comment about guv closing.... i use to be a big fan of him so thats cool, he had some decent sets between 08-09 in the main room...

I love Lawler but if you think he's one of the three biggest DJS that played at Guv I would love some of what you are smoking. (Maybe Ford is smoking it too).

You must live in some warped little bubble. Lawler is big, no doubt, and he's at Ryze (let's not even talk about your comments in another thread about Ryze)but INK has booked way more bigger DJs.

Very odd thing to say, but would expect no less coming from you.

obviously lawler is not the biggest dj they book... and you fully understand what i was trying to express...

i expect no less from you to rip into a person for stating their opinion... as i recall your one of the reasons that dragged TA down to begin with... ppl trolling others because their a big boss behind the kb...

annnnnnnyways... i sure will miss guvy lol

Although it would be nice to have someone big for closing, as Mark played more at the guv than anyone else, he should be closing it.

LOL

They will for sure try to book some different acts towards the end of the tenure at the club as they start to migrate the EDM bookings to Union, Tattoo and Sound Academy, then they can book the finale parties.

Still 8 months away, they're not gonna bail on their cash cow neon laced molly dropping tank top ripping EDM just quite yet! They'll bank money till the very end, THEN I presume they'll try to get some decent parties out to please the veterans and previous clientele.

I haven't missed Lawler in Toronto since 2002 with the exception of his boat cruise in 2010 because I was out of the country.

If you think he made ink so much money, don't you think that his residencies would have been at Guv and not This is London during that year? His Canada Day parties weren't part of his residency.

I'm wondering who the other 2 djs you think are the BIGGEST.

I believe he played Avalon in LA the saturdays as they signed the same deal with them...
Armin has consistently been there biggest draws... The 3rd I'm not sure

inclined to agree with that. I don't think there's anyone else I'd like to see play main room on the final night. Lawler for Sky Bar.

So many memories made with so many close friends in that building. Can't wait to get out there one last time.
