We're going to go back in the next couple years, there's always enough variety at the actual festival to keep us happy throughout, and we have family in the area. |

I can't believe how jaded some of you guys are LOL
I've been to just about every festival/concert over the last 20 years, and nothing compares to EDC Vegas at the moment. The production is second to none. Not even TomorrowLand can touch Insomniac's production these days. The entire speedway is like an adult Disneyland, the main stage rivals anything at Disneyland or Universal Studios, the last couple years have been that good. While there are plenty of douche bags and dude bros, and music that just plain sucks, the event is so big with so many DJ's there is something for everyone. |

It's a great festival I can't deny that.
But I still have nightmares about that 3.5 hour ordeal completely cracked out after a night of raving trying to make it back to my hotel on Monday morning. |

| I wished Dosem and Eelke Kleijn were playing outside of EDC during the weekend. |

I honestly really don't give a about the production. I would honestly be happier in a warehouse with a single laser. We are tanceheads and the trance most US festivals sucks. And no, not jaded at all. We are going to Lumi at the same time as EDC where we know there will be the music we love. |

+ ing 1 on this GPC!!!
Production has never done anything for me. Most events we attend have very minimal production. I don't think anyone is jaded here. Just over that massive . |

Don't get me wrong, good music in a dark room can be just as good, but how can you not think this is awesome-

that's lame as hell, sorry. EDC's main stage design has been cool to look at for all of 5 minutes and then it is boring. oh whats that, the owl's eye move back and forth? MINDBLOWING!
i've seen more impressive production at small burner parties
and really, let's be honestly, it doesn't matter how many lights and lasers and props they have when it's ing tiesto or david guetta or whomever other top 40 dj. |

Hahaahahahahahahahhahaha
I love you guys
ing TA, the only forum in the world full of old school heads so salty and jaded they can't appreciate that stage:stongue: |

For productions and visuals, I appreciate artists who team up with talented visual teams (dj shadow, amon tobin, kygo, tycho, shpongle, EOTO, EXCISION, Tipper, beats antique, just to list a few that come to mind) and do amazing visual setups, whether its projection mapped or well thought out/HQ visuals.
I'm really not sure what you are so impressed about with that stage. The size? size != quality. The fire? I've been to burning man and seen real fire art. Lights and lasers are standard gear nowadays. Am I missing something? e: is it the fireworks?
I understand they are ripping off/copying tomorrowland, but I never found their setups to be impressive either. Doesn't do it for me. I get why they do it, but I'd rather the performers bring in their own productions. Having a stage crew that is able to change the production setup between acts? Now that's impressive.
Who am I kidding though, the people that mainstage EDC don't have much talent beyond ghostwriting top 40 tracks, so |

| the circuit grounds stage always wins for me. the bass sounds so much better under a tent. the kinetic field is cool if you get to the front but good luck with that lol |
