Out of everyone that played in the Neon Garden they packed the place the most with people over flowing out of the tent.
I've seen them 3 times and it's always a sardine fest. It's been so bad every time I honestly cannot say I've ever seen anyone (edit: able to) dance to them.
We were listening to part of their set streaming on XM and couldn't believe how bad it was... "this is filler music" was one of the comments someone made.
Then again, people on reddit are talking about how amazing their set was.
I make it a point to avoid disclosure now just because of how popular they are. I don't see the point in going to any show if you are shoulder to shoulder.
I don't even like latch, but I like a lot of their other tracks.

By the way, woody, that's a liveset. They played a DJ set at EDC.
skipping thru it now, we tuned in around the ~18 minute mark. The whole mix is extremely meh but that section is just boring

so do you think they're popular because they made a couple of good radio hits?

That's probably part of it, but they also make good music so that is likely a larger contribution.
I remember I was with some friends at a music festival, and a girl that was with us wouldnt stop talking about how much she loved disclose and they hoped that they played 'her song' - didn't seem like she knew any of the music and then when they played 'her song' it was latch. anecdotal but there you go

I listened to their Essential Mix & that Pitchfork Mix I posted yesterday and they're damn good. TBH, those mixes made me wanna check them out. I'm going to listen to that EDC mix later on today, hopefully it's as good as those two.

Would you say the below comment best describes them?

the little i've heard from the link you posted sounds really chill.

i'd say a new version of 2-step, garage house, etc.
Billy surprised you weren't aware of them. their 2013 album i thought deserved the grammy more than Daft Punk.
i've not yet heard them spin so can't comment on that but they are extremely talented producers.

I've only ever really followed DJ's as opposed to producers. Didn't realize they did DJ sets till recently.

awesome producers and great in a live setting. not very good dj's.

best stage IMO was the Circuit Grounds stage
They took the Sarah Tent from Coachella and decked it out with a ton of lighting and screens, looked amazing in there(even more so during GAIA's set which had custom visuals, to go along with the old school banging trance set they threw down)
Outside of the terrible heat (103 at midnight) fun weekend :)
I agree along with all of the DJs that I spoke to there agreed that main stage this year was a let down. I didn't like the waterfalls to the left side, didn't make it symmetrical which bugged me a lot. lol
As far as Circuit Grounds, the last few EDCs has been similar so they didn't steal from Sahara. If anything, they just keep adding and adding to the structure over the past few years.

I have been a fan of them before they because huge/famous (sounds cliche but true).
It's crazy seeing them blow up, bigger fan now then ever. But since they ain't "underground" a lot of people don't like them anymore.
But I'm not hater I still like them Oliver Heldens Tchami...etc etc.

I'd call disclosure musicians if anything, certainly not 'producers'
