This is not a normal scene at most festivals. |

| production looks amazing, but I was going through Pasquale's twitter, boy are the shuttles and traffic a mess. Multiple complaints about being stuck in shuttles for 3-4 hours with the bathrooms locked and a/c not working, |

Thats what sealed the deal for me not coming back. And it was hi/lo around 110/80 all week compared to 105/75 last year and 99/70 in 2013. That's hot by any standards. |

this was also the last year on the 5 yr contract so insomniac will have to see if their contract is renewed. never been to EDC, and yea while the production is well done (music and lineup first for me but a plus) i have zero desire to be waiting in shuttle lines and traffic messes after partying all night. that alone completely turns me off to this entire event. |

| well... they just held a smaller event at the coliseum last week with Skrillex and some other dj i never heard of. I think it was a private event. But the fact they did an "EDM" event shows good signs. |

I couldn't agree with you more. Regardless of production or programming until the show exit and return to the strip is rectified with something other than a helicopter I refuse to go. EDC UK actually looks to be quite promising and well run - located. |

i really dont think the traffic situation will ever be rectified either. what kind of system could you ever come up with when the vast majority of 135k people each night are leaving at approximately the same time, all heading the same way? i got nothin....
i would even consider heading to vegas EDC weekend just for daytime parties or after parties but honestly out of the whole 5 days of events listed, i think 3 peaked my interest with quality music. granted, its vegas and there is always something entertaining to do, but still. |

To be fair the road (yes, singular) leaving the speedway is stupidly small for the size of the stadium and capacity. There is similar pain leaving from any event there that draws 6 figures.
They (whoever the owns the speedway) COULD make it better by making at least a second freeway entrance and larger, more controller roads, but it would be prohibitively expensive and they've probably deemed it not worth it. tens of millions of dollars or more to improve the leaving experience for a handful of events every year... yeah.
Lets not kid ourselves, it was bad in LA too. I was lucky I lived right down the street. |

YES! Leaving the Coliseum was a bitch! If you left too late, you were ed. |

| i left by 4am and had no traffic, but that is the reason why i left by then. at least 2 1/2 hours to get there and get in every night. |

I left at 5am both Friday and Saturday, I was litterally in my car and on LV Blvd by 5:20am on my way back to the strip and got there with in 20 minutes.
Sunday night, partied at the trailers with the Insomniac crew until about 7:30 am Monday morning and thought traffic wouldn't had been so bad. Boy was I ing wrong, should have stayed there partying in the trailers until at least 9-10am because I was ing stuck for at least an hour or two in traffic on LV Blvd. :(
Something you trance guys would appreciate (those of you that are left lol). Hung out with Fadi from Aly and Fila. I was surprised how packed Cosmic Grounds was at 5:30 am!
