Or maybe I just haven't listened enough to Above & Beyond. I assumed they were all fluffy kind of trance stuff. To be honest, I can't name a single track by them lol.
The chord progression in that Solar Fields track is so simple (but effective) it'd almost be a surprise if it didn't compare well to something already existing.
Adding that Nickson track looks like you're just looking for vaguely comparable synth leads.
