I could start my usual, long rant on how many popular producers lack variation, but I can't be arsed, and I think even you can figure out where I'm going here.[I'm not expecting that producers should make unique-sounding tracks every time. But when the same elements get recycled over and over for like 4-5 tracks, that's way too much.

That's so true the other day the armin mix of iio rapture came on and i started humming to oceanlab- sky falls down cos i thought it was the remix of that instead. Never even realised how similar they both were production wise until then! Probably because there was a big gap between the release dates of the two?! |

Yeah so do i. I like the fact that i can work out, for example, i' m listening to corsten track cos it has his TM sounds in it. But i don't like it when two songs are near identical both melody and structure wise. I think that's a bit lazy and we can do without it |

nu -nrg fans wont like this but
cirque - destroy she said (donatis mix) and nunrg - universe
both have a similar beginning...u know the defining part in the cirque song before the vocals come on..right at the very beg...
and also
basic dawn - pure thrust & solar factor - urban shakedown..the main theme melody is similar..
and finally one i noticed on the tiesto set
Andain - Summer Calling (Airwave Club Mix) & riva- time is the healer/armin-communication (one of the two, cant remember)
come flame me ! |

| Armin Van Buuren & Airwave - Slipstream sounds soooo familiar but I just can't put my finger on it! :conf: |

|
| Rakoon |
Kansai - Roccoco
Escape - Solar Silence
Both use the same instrument for the lead. |

| Josh Wink stole the bassline off a dan bell song and claimed it as his own. Dan Bell was going to sue him but realized it was not the worth the effort. Wink also stole the riff from french kiss and claimed it as his own. |
