I have a few big offenders among friends and relatives. Moving to filter out their updates. Seems to be mostly middle-aged people.
What do you all think about this phenomenon? |

| Invariably annoying. On my feed it's mostly leftier-than-left stuff. There's a common consensus in the UK that the left-wing echo chamber has colonised social media and the comments section of any large website. If you went by the online chorus you'd be convinced that Scotland is now an independent nation and Labour won the general election by a landslide. In reality neither happened. |

According to my Facebook, Prime Minister Jeremy Corbyn will usher in an era of peace and awesome together with president Bernie Sanders.
DON'T YOU DARE SAY IT'S NOT TRUE!
(I sometimes do it because Brazil went through a political turmoil last year, but only to crunch numbers... Sometimes people argue with no basis on reality, so I feel the urge to remind them "I think" is not always the best way to begin an argument) |

It really bad here in the states.
And to be honest, most of it comes from middle aged people or older .
At least from what ive come across, its mostly the "right" , the extreme conservatives that are intolerable to anything , not the moderate right
And the threads in which it is about gun control or regulation are probably the worst.
I blame fox news at least partly. |

Loool, you should have a look at my feed sometime, then. My left-leaning relatives love them some Upworthy / Buzzfeed / HuffPo half-brained outrage fodder. |

I think political talk is inversely proportional to the sex you are getting times your age.
I don't do much with facebook but I have been cornered many a time at a party and it's as enjoyable as getting a root canal.
Lol @ Lira getting Bernie Sanders hype down in Brazil.
Btw he really is awesome :p |

Haha, it's my American friends (and a Malaysian one, oddly enough) :p
Here in Brazil you're much more likely to see:- People complaining about the president and her party;
- People bitching about the president and her party;
- Brazilians slagging Brazilians off for being Brazilians;
And, last but not least,
- People complaining about those on the other end of the political spectrum
:D |
