Why you wasting any pity on me, lol? All of my problems are admittedly first world. As long as the wife's scans keep coming back clean, I'm good!

If you were black, at least you would have the privilege of being expected to abandon any children made with fat white chicks.

Fortunately, I don't have any biological offspring. I never wanted to take a 50/50 shot at passing on all my mental issues to someone with no say so in the matter. I just can't imagine willingly forcing that on another human being. I will have to consider, what was the term you used..."rent a dad"...as my contribution to society, by at least being a stable father figure for two that otherwise wouldn't have experienced that. Small victories.

Fortunately?

Aye chihuahua.

I'm going to dedicate my next fecal tableau to you.

Yes, fortunate for said biological offspring. Why on earth would I gamble on 50/50 odds with saddling some poor child with the same mental issues? Again, I raised two...I did my part. I am content with what I've done. I'm afraid you make have mistaken a lot of what I've said as me bitching n' moaning, looking for someone on the Internets to provide "cures". But that is most assuredly not the case. I simply replied to some queries. Yes, I have more anxiety that the average person, but I cope by avoiding things that cause anxiety, etc. E.g., travel, in most circumstances, gives me mild to moderate panic attacks. So, I avoid traveling unless it is a must. Being in fast, heavy traffic in a dense urban environment makes me have mild to moderate panic attacks, so I live in the boonies. And so on.

It's good to be open about , but I dunno why you bother explaining or defending anything to Jay of all people. :p

I've always just enjoyed talking...as simple as that. I got an overly healthy dose of that from my mother and my maternal grandmother. I guess you could argue that I'm too honest at times. I also operate of the probably flawed assumption: if someone asks me a question, they are genuinely curious and wish to hear an answer. That's probably a ty assumption, but I confess I am guilty of it. In my mind, I figure if I want to know how or why something is the way it is, the easiest thing to do, first, is just ask. I generalize and apply that same simple, curious, honest desire to everyone else.
