Toobad the Magik series has ended, he either should have ended with Magik 6, or he should have made Magik 8, that would beat the hell out of the others (Magik 7 for sure)! Too bad he ended with Magik 7..
Oh well we'll see what the future will bring
Tiësto thank u for the 7 Magik Compilations, respect :)
Magik 4ever!

| Magic 6 was... umm.. "yawn".. basically, Tiesto released Magik 6 on the same time with the excellent "Revolution" compilation, which totally eclipsed the 6th chapter of that serie in all degrees: contained same track selection on the "Light Side", yet had a godly mixing / tunes on the "Dark Side"... Now, I wouldn't mind at all a series of "Revolutions", honnestly :( |

What can I say? I knew it was coming. Tiesto started changing last year, in 2001. His music was no longer uplifting or melodic. He started playing boring prog. And now, he is a different man. I think even his personality has changed. Tiesto had his day but now he should retire. Remixing Elvis Presley? Yeah, great idea, Tijs
For all of you living in the past and still raving about Gouryella and the Magiks, wake up and smell the coffee.
 it's almost 2003 |

Your opinion confirms one thing.....you are an idiot. Magik 6 a yawn? Get the hell out of here! Anyone who doesn't love Magik 6 (doesnt have to be your favourite!) doesn't know what uplifting trance is! |

Yes I agree, Magik 6 was pretty good, and the definition of 'uplifting'.
But not mixed very well, sorry to say. |

I agree with many of you in that Tiesto started going alittle prog last year. Take a look at the tracklisting of Magik7 , (Come Along!,Auronaut, Bass Control , Planisphere , and Prophet)> all these songs touch the prog side. It was good but a little prog.
We still have the ISOS series which i always felt were 10 times better than the Magik series. ISOS3 is beautiful. ISOS1 is the first cd i bought and thats what my passion for trance grew on , nice and soft uplifting trance. I heard his set recently and its dope ass and he still throws down crazy uplifting songs like personal reflexion and rebirth(airwave) but then you see King Unique - Sugar High! Its still dope but you say - WTF! This is not Tiesto! Time will tell , and we'll see how his rep will change. I used to think Tiesto would only play BT,Lange, airwave type of , now you see HOLDEN, KING UNIQUE on the tracklists! LETS WAIT FOR TIESTO VS DIGWEED!! it! I still love the guy, no hate. |

It's all about money now, he'll probably sign a deal with ministry to release Poop Nations and get paid a bucketload for mixing songs and enjoy his paychecks
I just hope he feels good rolling around in all his piles of money cos one day even his most loyal fan will wonder what he's doing, he's become really arrogant & imo he's not the guy who could rock everyone with uplifting magik, but a shadow of that guy with a personality crisis |
