| Yea 5 & 6 were tru bangers but lets not forget ISOS is no slouch as well. Its sad to say though Magiks were my fav and i will miss them but hey like someone said earlier his sets are still decent and there will be more ISOS's to come so no need to worry.:) :) :) :) :) |

I posted a reply on www.djtiesto.com when I saw this info there. If you want, you can go read it in their forum. It's in either the "Opinion" or "Question" section. Well, I haven't heard any of Armin's ASOT radio show Episodes since 58 so, I can't really sasy what I think of him RIGHT NOW but, I want to know when is his "005" album coming out? Also, how many ASOT episodes will there be before that's over? It's a shame that Tiësto is stopping the Magik series because this is the series which is the DEFINITION of Uplifting Trance (well, at least 1 - 6 are anyway)! I hate the style he plays now and I want to hear more material that is the same QUALITY as or is BETTER than the Magik series. I heard Armin's numbered series (from 001-004) and it didn't hit me the same way that Magik did. Magik is just plain BETTER. I can't explain it but, even though Armin has some excellent music on his numbered albums, the series as a whole, isn't as good as the Magik series. Maybe I'm asking for too much? Maybe the style of Trance that I love (Uplifting/Melodic/Emotional) just isn't made or doesn't exist anymore? Maybe the masses don't like it anymore? To me, the Progressive that Tiësto plays is boring. If John Digweed & Sasha's "Northern Exposure" series is classified as "Progressive", then, I LOVE the type of Progressive that's featured there. The only series that comes CLOSE to the Magik series is the Forbidden Paradise series. There are 12 albums of it out now and it is great. Numbers 1 and 2 were mixed by DJ Blackout, 3 - 7 were by DJ Tiësto, 8 and 9 were by Doc Fabian, 10 and 11 were made by Misja Helsloot. I don't know who made the 12th one but, I'm dying to hear it, as what I have heard (4-10) from this series is nothing short of excellent! It resembles Magik.
Also, does Piet Blank play good Uplifting sets? I have one (2002-11-02 - Partyservice) and it's great! I know he made a lot of sets and I want to know how are they. Can someone review a few? Thanks.

| How about Ferry's Global Trancemissions series taking over as the next Magiks? I know they don't compare with the classic moments the Magik series gave us over the years, but they still represent the uplifting trance scene fairly well... |

Never really listend to ANY of the magik cd's by Tiesto. Shame on me :nervous: :nervous: I just finished downloading Magik 1 - 7 And each cd is so energetic and chilled at the same time. I love the type of songs that tiesto puts in the cd's. I also love ISOS. |

modem.. just started downloading Sasha's GU 013 to see if it is as good as everyone says.. I'll probably end downloading the first cd in 3 weeks time :rolleyes: |
