I agree with you guys.....

but please tiestos days are over
COM ON!!! ARMIN WILL KILL HIM IN 2003
everybody knows that Armin is so much better than tiesto!!!!

He will be good but not that good no more

The magic musik remix of Jurgen Vries Opera Song is terrible

Tiesto has made a good decision in light of his current style. If he had continued Magik with Tech-Prog-Trance everyone would call him a sellout, ruining the 'purity' of the Magik sound. Ending the series is only the most logical decision.

I for one really enjoy Tiesto's current style, and Magik is simply incompatible with it. More power to him.

Besides, Armin is going to give Uplifting a swift kick in the ass during 2003. Tiesto wouldn't stand a chance. :p

Its best for him to do this obviously and some of you are blaming him just for hell of it.

happens, move on he still plays some wicked uplifting

I think its time for someone else to shine now in the "trance department" and that person looks to be Armin..

time will tell

Sorry, but ISOS doesn't compare to Magik, plain and simple. ISOS is chillout trance....it makes me sleepy. Magik is pure damn energy, except for 7.

I still respect Tiesto and will give his new stuff a shot, but he COULD keep the Magiks going....but he'd have to produce a lot of the uplifting tunes himself and carefully select the tunes because there are still some good uplifting tracks out there. Or perhaps he could work with armin and ferry again and make some new ones? I doubt it.

Anyway, Tijs shouldn't leave the magiks on #7. Better to go out with a BANG rather than a soft whimper, which is what live from LA is.

I can't believe the abuse some ppl are giving Tijs here. I have nothing but admiration and respect for him for doing some of the things he has done recently, it takes a lot of bottle to admit to his fans that he can no longer cater for them. He is experimenting with his sound and nobody can tell him what style he should play, just sit back and watch it all unfold. At the end of the day there aren't enough quality uplifting trance releases these days!

tiesto sucks now anyways...he would ruin it if he made another one...7 sucked imo all the others are some of the best peices of music ive ever heard

yea, but a fan's loyalty doesn't exactly put the food on the table now does it?

people change and grow
he felt it was time to move on
