and one last note.
My close friend (doctor) who just finished his internship at a hospital could not believe his ears when little girls about 13 asking for the pills!! or even worse at 15+ asking for tubal ligation. He was shocked and was trying to explain, most not knowing the consequences, they heard about it and just want it. So for your doctor, you're just one of these little girls (you're just 22 after all). ;) |

I was with her when the doctor proposed depo provera, shots every 3 months, etc. He layed down all the specs and side effects. She refused on the spot. Little side effects doesn't equal NO side effects at all.
But she might reconsider, but I doubt it for the moment. |

yea, and let me add, depo is not 100% great. for a lot of women, it works GREAT. for other women, its complete and total hell (re: ME.) .. i had the worst experience with it basically ever (if yer interested, pm me and ill tell you.. tho it probably would make your girlfriend never want to get on it again ;) )... its kind of evil that way. women either adore it, or hate it. and unfortunately theres no way of knowing how your body will react unless you take it the first time.
damn these reproductive tracts! ;)

well, if you want to have kids at 14, that is a bad decision, but your decision nonetheless. i guarantee you that kid would not have everything it needed, unless you gave it to a family that wanted to adopt. im 21, been through plenty, and i know that i am not ready to be a father. you being a parent at your age and maturity is just a joke. like i said before, you would ruin 3 lives ; yours, your girlfriend's, and the baby's, not to mention the people around you who have to help deal with the situation.

HEY I know you trying to help...and I understand you. I would give advice to people not to use protection. I think you misunderstood me or something down the line..cus it seems that u think i NEVER use condoms.WE do, but my point is that sometimes you just dont have one andwe still do it.IS IT A CRIME! and if something happens WE are ready to take the responsibility for it cus I know myself I know ppl around me I know that im mature enough to handle it.(sorry to disappoint you. |

im guessing to 100% of people who read this, it sounded like you meant that you do NOT want children, and thus, are happy that she hasnt gotten pregnant yet. had you just said "we want children, so we are ok if she gets pregnant", like i said, i wouldnt have given you at ALL. the problem i have is with people who really dont want to get pregnant, yet still take zero precautions to prevent it.
so yea.. might help to clarify next time right away to save everyone some trouble :cool:
and yes, what are my hypocritical comments? id like to see those. ive had sex without condoms before, but ive ALWAYS been on at *least* one other form of birth control. (at one point, i was on depo provera, AND the pill... for a complicated reason). ive never had sex without birth control, and without condoms. ever. so i assume my hypocrisy is related to something else? |
