hm idd, most of the texts in trance-vocal is crap, cheesy, all you want, but ... i dont care actually. as long as it sounds good and it fits into the song. its an extra thing that makes a tune (sometimes) perfect imo.
we all still listen electronic music for the sounds right?

my favorite vocalist is Jan Johnston.
Vocals add to the song and i love it :D However some vocal songs sucks like armins yet another day. |

and yeah some trance w/out vocals has bad points as well. some songs are just soo generic.... throw in some damn bitch hollaring about finding love to make it interesting. but yeesh if i hear the same synths over the same drums imma kill myself. trance with style is something i strive for. its a wonderful thing to hear a mix where every song has its own melody and patterns.:D |

| well yea i see ur points but i find female or male i suppose...vocals add to a trance set....sometimes they just fit.....i dunno i will always include a vocal track or 2 in a set : ) |

Vocal Trance can't give u true trance feelings.people should NOT be excited about the messages.yeah it's nice when there are cool messages like the ones in *as the rush comes*...but it's even 10 times better if there is a hypnotic mellow ... support REAL TRANCE and fight the rest !!!!

i am constantly amazed at the stupidity of some people on here. what kind of ed up is that? especially that last quote?? since when does your location in the world have any bearing on how much you like music? i dont ing care where you are, or how long you have liked music. don't patronise someone because they "are far away from europe". thats one of the stupidest things i've ever seen here, and i see a lot of stupid things. and why "pray" for someone if they were introduced with vocal trance? heaven forbid someone gives a friend a song to listen to and they like it and investigate into other similar tracks, vocal or otherwise. if you think that just because you have liked this music since 1991 and that you live in europe means you are better than me or anyone else is ridiculous.
just because a track has vocals does not mean its a bad track. sometimes they are vocals, sometimes they are great vocals. its stupid to generalise from some bad examples, and then keep listing exceptions! its like all music! theres bad and theres good! saying stuff like this is just stupid.
and what the hell makes you the absolute authority on what 'real' trance is and what effects it should have on people when they listen to it?

i dont give a what other people think but i absolutely love the vocal mix of 'dt8 - destination'. i find it emotional and i get excited about it, it gives me a TRUE TRANCE FEELING!!!!
sometimes its easier to identify with a track when there is something to listen to, some words expressing something. sometimes non-vocal tracks are the hollow ones.
i guess that makes me stupid then? im just one of the "masses"?? don't insult my (and other people's) intelligence just because i have a different view on something than yours. having attitudes like that, thinking you are better than someone else because of something so subjective as personal music taste can get u in a bit of trouble sometimes.
you are not the centre of the universe, you have no right to say what i should and shouldn't like in music and why.
