i'm not sure if anyone else has said it but..
theres just as much cheesy non vocal trance out there as theres cheesy vocal trance out there. just because it contains vocals doesnt mean its cheese. |

Most of vocals tracks are very bad IMO !
For me, "Vocal trance" is just another word for eurodance, that's all.
It's just an easy way to make people love the tune, because it sounds more "commercial", everybody, not only the trance lovers can listen to it. |

Sorry mate but before 1999, only few trance tracks had vocals and it was great like that. |

yeah, but then trance evolved over the years. so now we (I at least) cant imagine a trance scene without vocals in it.
who said trance was at its peak back then? I agree that there is much crap out there (the last years) but at the same time there are also a load of quality tunes - truly masterpieces. you just cant compare the scene in '99 and the scene now...
maybe its because im only into trance for 2 years and i never experienced the good old scene =).

the vocals made it cheese, while the original wasn't. it has nothing to do with a "cheesy" tune. the cheese were from the vocals ALONE.

look at those lyrics. can they be any more lame? totally destroyed into the night. that is just some weak that no one wants to know where it came from.
i have no problems with stuff like andain and the likes. those are truly quality. however, when people are supporting like the above, then i'm sorry but IMO, they don't know jack about real trance and i don't care what you guys think of this statement. go ahead and post stupid smilies or give me the "picture" treatment. |
