I think his cds are on the suckage side.
I've listened to them all, and haven't bought any of them....
I do enjoy some of his livesets however.:D

i don't think i'd go as far as saying 'hats off'
i don't see anyone else flaming any other djs in this forum. board yes, nyc forum no.
i respect everyone's opinion on music, because i have my own too. but i'm not going to start a thread saying 'i hate ...'
yeah, there's a lot of pvd hype on this board. there is hype for other djs/events as well. just turns out more members are paul van dyk fans.
the track the paul is currently playing on fritz radio kicks ass, and i really hope he plays it thursday or friday! |

i think some of the ppl on this board (DEF not all) are into PVD to teh extent they are as a result of the hype. and i give props to john for breaking free of that and stating another opinion. |

i hope that the people on this board are smart enough to think for themselves and make up their own minds about what they like and what they don't independent of what everyone else thinks. |

Nah, I like PvD, and i have heard him a lot(though, only 1 time live). And I think hes a great DJ. PvD, Ferry Corsten, and Sasha and Digweed are my fav DJs. My opinion is as simple as, if I like what he plays, he is good to me. I dont need someone else to tell me what is good and what is not. I'll find out for myself =P. |
