Seriously some of you need to get a clue..

Some of you guys just complain too much for the amount of talent your getting..

Absolutely right. You prog and house or whatever it is the hell you listen to these days since you "matured" from trance, should feel lucky about how they usually organise the set times at Guv. At least the "ty anthem dropping cheeze fest" trance dj's come on last. That means you can be out of there around 3 or 4 am. If you know you don't like trance anymore, then why come on here and bitch? Why even wait around and stay for Armin or Ferry's set if all you're going to do is bitch about it later?

As usual a late review from me. But better late then never right?

Screw the details the best moments of the night were:

Dillinja - OMG that was crazy! Much respect to the 7 TAs (Desidel, Ezikiel, Endlesswave, Malice, Trancegeek, Brunette and myself) who were all going insane to the jungle beats. That is what really got me going.

Lawler - The middle of his set was totally insane. Hard tribal beats had me stomping hard. Wicked skillz he has behind the decks.

AVB - the last 2.5 hours of Armin's set was off the bloody hook. Everybody there was dancing like mad (if they still had energy left). The guy loves playing for a crowd and was eating up the energy that night.

People - My GOD! For me these parties are insane for running into people. Its almost too much sometimes but in the end ya gotta love having so many friends at a party like this. It makes it complete. Overall everyone had a great vibe.

Being the Beacon that I am, I saw a ton of TAs. Can't even begin to list em all. Respects to all. Especially those I spent most of my night with (although as usual I am never in one place for too long): Brunette, TranceGeek and Crew (D. I wanna move to Montenegro if what you say is true :)), Desidel, Endlesswave, RJ (thanks ;)), Artic Boy (Holy crazy politics discussions at the afterparty!).

Finally special shouts to Aussie TA Soups who came all the way from Melbourne to party. Damn should have asked you to do a little shuffle styles!

In the end you know its a great party when you walk out of there legs cramped, back sore and still wanting more.

HI all!

Here's my review... first off, the drive from NYC to Toronto is a loooooooooong ass drive. However it was well worth it. :D

I was so very impressed with the club and the experience in Toronto. Number 1, the bouncers and security were extremely pleasant to deal with - from the line outside to the bouncer almost kicking out my friend to the end of the night when they were kicking out everyone to clean up. I'm used to the rude "in your face" security in NYC clubs who don't give 2 cents about the party and the experience. I didn't even have to go through a frisking and body cavity search like I do in NYC. Very nice club as well! Huge!!! I met this really sweet guy who gave me a tour and I was impressed with the size.

AVB - LOVE the man!!! I think this was by far the best set I've heard him drop. Heard lots of new stuff mixed in with lots of classics. A good combo, IMO. Mixing was on point, btw. I couldn't have done it better if I tried.

Lawler - wish I would've been able to pay more attention to his set but I was having a crisis with a friend, security, and then the paramedics room. All is ok, but stupid people do stupid things. What I did hear was good though.

Last, holy sausage fest in the Guv, batman!!!

I'll def be coming back to visit more parties at this club. You guys know how to rock it!

Short and Sweet

I thought Desyn Masiello did a good job warming up the crowd and am looking forward to him in a head-liner role.

Lawler - What the hell can I say that hasn't been said. Amazing set (too short)

AVB - Trance in your pants DJ. What I expected....

Nice to meet the lovely charmscars and her crew (Thanks for the kind words)
Swamper - Nice to finally meet the man behind this madness.

I was looking for Trancegeek and Special K but had no luck.
:(

and....Oh my god walking into the Guverment at about 4:00am has now scared me for life, :nervous:
TranceGeek
^^^ where were you that night? i'm usually centre-back at any party, and i rarely wander around...

anyways, you gonna check out Lucien Foort on sat?
ShAwZy
We were at the front right speaker where I usually am at every party. Not too sure about Lucien yet as I spent a wack load of cash this weekend and have seen him. Probably be out the following weekend.....
I'll download your new CD tonight.
Cheers.
TranceGeek
sounds good...

btw, how was lucien foort? his productions are wicked, but i've never heard his live sets...
ShAwZy
Honestly man,
We went to System for something to do that night and ended up staying till the end. He really impressed me and if I could, I would go see him again. Smokes mad J's while hes spinning too ;) and all you can see are his white teeth when he smiles....:D
Have fun
TranceGeek
lol... when was he at system? i can't believe i missed out on him... whats the stuff like that he plays live?

Wait a sec .... TranceGeek and Brunette was in the jungle room ?

Oh damn ....

His live stuff is a lot like his productions. Nice and funky! Again he totally surprised the hell out of us and we ended up staying to see the rest of his set. No doubt that'll you have a good one, seemed like a super nice dude, always smiling and throwing fists in the air....
High Spirit
sorry it's a bit late, but I just got in home since iDream eve.. :toothless
100% one of those nights worth to remember. The biggest highlight of the night for me personally was Steve L. Armin was good no questions asked, but he's been seen being much better... Steve L. has totally changed my view towards the house music last year(Hooman, thank you so much for introduction) and has been following this style ever since.
Also it's been such a treat to see all TAs at this party. Hope you guys had a great time. I'll be looking forward to see you at all the upcoming events.
