No... It wasn't this. I haven't heard, or hear of, the remix that Lawler dropped, but I can assure you that it wasn't this, and it must be something quite a bit newer. |

Then it's probably one of Lawler's edits or remixes, since he has a tendency to edit most of the tracks he has in his record bag and play them out, thus being the unique mofo that he is. |

I doubt this for two reasons. First, it didn't sound anything like his past production work. And second, WMC was what, less than a month ago? My guess is that this is some fresh booty he picked up @ the conference. I could be wrong though. Perhaps he did do a Bjork edit that has yet to really get any publicity. But considering the kind of dj-schedule he tends to keep, and the fact that Lawler productions do tend to make some rumour-noise before their release, I think this is quite unlikely. |

The KoolHaus was perfectly full. Not too packed. But packed.
A great night in all. Lawler blew the fookin' roof off. If only his compilation discs sounded remotely like that set. The highlight of the night, excepting of course all the great company and the wonderful crowd, was the last hour or so of Lawler's set. It was absolute fukkin' mayhem. And it was nice to see him throw some more atmospheric material towards the end, in order to allow for Armin to make an easier transition into the trancey stuff. Very professional. Armin did well too. Trance is not so much my thing these days, but I did enjoy the set. Regarding Desyn's set, I think it was more interesting to count the amount of cigarettes that he chainsmoked than actually pay much attention to his music. He dropped some edit of Underworld's "TwoMonth'sOff" that was outta key. Sounded like . He didn't really do it for me. The circuit party that was the Guvernment was quite packed and kickin' too, but I was unwilling to brave the sea of shirtless dudes for more than a few minutes. Upgrades needed on the OrangeRoom's soundsystem.
All in all, a great evening. |

yeah..you keep saying this. it's just not true! I didn't have enough space to dance until late into the night, when the floor was covered w/ 'debris.' you should just admit you like it really packed..esp when i'm standing beside you. |

Man, all I gotta say is that I love AvB... When he dropped sunspot I went crazy (even though it was like 7:30am). AvB did not disappoint (I just wished I could have gotten a signed record!).
Boo to all of you who left me alone at the pre-meet.. :(
