Why is CBC so biased against the US and Israel? (pg. 2)

exactly, everything has been said about those two bad boys. EVERY national network around the world (minus the 2 countries cited) has been critical against the US and Israel. I don't understand why you point out the CBC (and Radio-Canada in french who's even more critical toward Israel and the US).
censorship is the easy way out, accepting critics and doing your best to correct the problem is the harder way but the only one who'll put those critics to rest. |

^^^^^^ My uncle was shot in the head during the Iran and Iraq war.. When I was 5 years old I saw Scuds dropping on Tehran from Saddam's Iraq.. It wasn't a war, it was terrorism, millions of Iranians were killed in that war becuase of biological and chemical weapons which were the FIRST EVER used in war. I have no love for terrorists, but I also have no love for those that perpetuate war, and right now both sides are red with blood. U.S, Israel, Palestine, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Jodan, nobodies innocent and its refreshing to see and hear a news station like the CBC that casts out some semblence(sp?) of truth.

Durafei, i'm not condoning terrorism by any stretch of the imagination. That is just the surface of the current problem, It's a reaction to an action. You need to delve into the problem a little bit deeper. Why are there terrorist attacks? Because they invaded these people back in 67. All they want is their country back and they have resorted to horrible methods to try to make it happen. It's a complex situation. At any rate, if the Israelis gave the land back then the bloodshed would end and everyone could resume a normal life.
Odd don't you think? Iraq invades Kuwait and the States barge in. The Israelis take land from several countries during the 67 war and you don't see the States pressuring them to hand it back until very recently.. |

What makes you think terrorism would stop if Israel gave them back occupied terrotories? Purpose of Hammas is complete destruction and annihilation of Israelies... |

the odd thing about Hamas, is that their the only force left in Lebanon that keeps any law and order. They build schools, and hospitals and other humanitarian projects in that small little war torn country. Which doesn't make any sense why they support terrorism. |

I would assume that Hamas would change it's mandate if the reason for it is no longer valid?
At any rate, once they right the wrong then everyone can squarely blame Hamas and Israel would be absolved of blame and then their actions would be justified. |

well Hezbollah is from Lebenon,and Hamas is from Palastine,and I think both group do alot of social work,but ofcourse we dont hear about the good they do, we hear about their suicide bombings!!:rolleyes: |
