as for r&b...a lot of it comes from soul and blues
there are some horrible remakes of great songs that drag it down but that happens with everything...i mean cmon you cant say theres no TERRIBLE EURO TRANCE out there...thats still trance, i dont hate on trance music because of it...i mean thatd be stupid

| the reason alot of mc's kill eachother is basically thats how theyre raised that and theres alot of money in hip hopindustry... i dont think any of u have ever grown up in a poor area... but when it comes to money poor people will do some crazy ass things... so theyre pretty much grown like that then they enter this industry where there is billions and billions of dollars being circulated and everybody is in selfish as and thats basically what happens, u get mc's blowing the out of eachother...and it doesnt happen ith big name mc's (except for big and pac, but that was sug knight if u ask me) big mc's are too much under the publics eyes to be going around killin eachother... i dunno im drunk... and theers alot of hip hop / rap thats not based on guns drugs and bitches check out mos def check out common check out eminem for sakes check out tribe...u guys generalize all different types of music cept ur own and then get pissed when others generalize urs... but the fact of the matter is i was at a club tonight and some prog came on after hip hop and the dancefloor cleared hip hop came back on and the dancefloor was packed and ppl were having fun again... i dont think trance is toomuch of a party music of here especially when toronto is trying to be as american as possible... |

| ok ok....we're getting away from the point of interest here. The main thing is....trance sounds good (it's classy) and rap/hip hop does not. Trance is all about the emotion and love while rap is always about killing someone, stealing something, driving cars and ing bitches. The message of electronic music, for the most part, is always positive. It wants to make you feel good (yes, I know drugs are a part of that). Rap is just full of hate and bitching....that's what I get out of it. And before you asses start saying "they're talking about the ghetto life".....well, that's been done 500 ing times already and it's time to shut up about it. We know the ghettos are bad....deal with it. |

you can have the "classy" setting all u want but when people hear hip hop they want to let it all out. so you can say that hip-hop is not classy but its not even about that. its about something you've obviously not had the pleasure of understanding. |

this is what people mean when they say hiphop is the best music to party; = hiphop is the best music to get "booty"
I am not a big fan of hiphop, but it's fun music for smaller parties.
I like elec. music parties for the atmospher (lasers, lights, smoke, the big amount of people..etc) |

| heres my view about rap. in canada (especially southern ontario and west british columbia) everyone who isnt black think that they should listen to rap if they want to act like black people. yet they dont even know the difference between good and ty tracks. wat happens is if u chose to listen to music thats not rap then everyone will start to think your not trying to act black anymore. in summary, everyone here is peer pressured to listen to rap/r nd b, otherwise they believe they wont have any friends. and i agree with most of u about people getting in trouble with the law and the way they dress and things like that, yes its just stupid!!!!!!!! just like the gino's for eg. stupuid people!!:whip: :whip: :whip: |
