i'm not a real fan of hip hop, but there is some really good stuff out there. just gotta take the time to dig deep.
but you know if it doesn't really get you interested like another form of music does then why waste your time?
focus on what you love. don' bash other music when you haven't spent the time to really know it deep down. |
the difference is rap is everywhere where i live so i have really heard it all. but in detroit you must dig to find good electonic music, apperently thats not the case with rap because people love it here |

well rap and hip hop (or should is say hip POP) is all over here in LA
its really annoying.
i know where your coming from tho. its hard to find good electronica in D-town.
most of the detroit techno i hear i realy dont like anyway, too hard and dirty sounding for me. been up to detroit many a time. the electronica that comes out of there compliments the city very well.
i'm orig. form st. louis. there you really have to dig for good music :p |

| saying hip-hop sucks because of guys like 50-cent and fabolous is like saying trance sucks because of dudes like Ian Van Dahl and DJ Sammy. Don't judge music you havnt experienced and don't understand. Especially because you guys all go nuts when people do the same about your precious trance. |
