all good man, seriously stop by my party when u can it happens every month.. i can give u all the info if u pm me.. and ask john[pyro].. he'll tell you if im on the hub or not.. :D

I download mp3's. If it wasnt for Napster, then Audiogalaxy, and now the hub, i would not have got every single PVD album, or Gatecrasher album, Tiesto album. hell i would have no clue about this stuff coz how would i know? u wont hear proper stuff on the radio here, why would i go to listen to PVD play if i dont know who he is?

I own about 15 cd's, both albums and compilations and i bought them knowing there are tracks on there that would flow in a set etc.. so i know the tracks around it would be good.

I do not support the RIAA because i do not agree with how they are deeling with their buesiness. Threating a 8 year olds mother because of nursery rhymes she downloaded with legal action shows a poor world we live in.

Every other genre have radio stations to listen to their music love, what do i have?

Just read your post again lol

Just thinking, although i disagree with the RIIA etc... i understnd the viewpoint from your side in newbies.

Would TA get into trouble when it is based in Canada? (i think)

maybe a sticky is needed?

A sticky is pointless - it just takes up screen real estate and the people who bother posting threads asking for stuff don't give a to read anything else - they're just posting for their own gain without regard to prior threads/notices/whatever.

absolutely true.. i think there ARE genuine ppl who really have no clue and ask for certain things and there are also ppl that register and ask for just because theyve heard that this is 'the place to be'.. its just hard to differenciate those 2 types of ppl..:p

Well the thing about RIAA is that its only American copyrighted stuff.

What about n00bs that sign on from other countries to look for downloading sites? I dont know what their particular countrys' copyright laws are,but I was just thinking that the whole RIAA cracking down and stuff is mostly for American music.

Hmm, just a thought

If there were some sort of pinned thread in the forum I think the number of people asking about it would be very low... I think its extremely twatty how some people act towards new members when they have no way of knowing they are doing anything wrong. Its not so long ago there was a pinned thread in the chillout section offering help for the EMC hub members.

I think its an excuse for people to feel big, and its completely out of order

If someone only registers here to request downloads then he/she deserves the flames, IMO.
If someone wishes to do so then he/she should at least bother to find out the info by themselves.

yes, that is correct.

maybe there should be a sign in red font or something "don't discuss filesharing or you'll be banned" when they register or something.

i just find it funny that people join these boards and ask us for downloading sources. this is a discussion board not a leeching board. i certainly wouldnt go into the supermarket and ask employee's for free food. be logical people this community does not support file sharing just go buy your damn music - and if the RIAA is trying to sabotage us - please dont even look at tranceaddict.com we are an EDM Community (electronic dance music) not a filesharing network! Most people of this community are artist in themselves.

Feel free to discuss and refrain from FLAMING - DISCUSS THE TOPIC
No one in particular or maybe one group in particular who pertain to this topic - point blank!

Remember opinons are like s, everyone has one. Please keep the discussion REAL and informative. As a community we should only grow.

Well my son, first of all, im not a knoob, ive just recreated....but, the reason why knoobs want download sources..is due to the fact that they LIKELY WANT TO LISTEN TO AND OR HAVE THE MUSIC.....kinda like u did when u first got into this. File sharing is illegal...but i think it helps vinyl sales...but with cd mixing, that could screw that theory...Neverthless - people need music.

When I was a tranceaddict in training I never posted for ask for downloading sources, so not all the TA in training don't know that we have to give support to the artists etc, etc. No it's a question of be in training! it's a question of concience before or after to ask for downloading music in a thread and be flamed.;)

itsTrueSonic
u know what i think ???

i think TAs in training are working for the RIAA and looking for dumbasses who give out sources .. it's a trap guys .. run away .. ahhhhhhhhhhhhh .... i for one will say that i do not support downloading and support the artists in getting money so they can lay down some more phat live sets ...

there .. i have said it ... you RIAA TAs in training will not get me and accuse me of stealing ...
Trancer85
Blah....we have all been there done that.

I remember i got flamed real badly when i asked for emc address on the music section..hahaha:haha:
