Why do "tranceaddict in training" ask for downloading sources? (pg. 5)

Again, I don't have any hangups with this either, except, well.. nearly everyone talks about it. Even in the "New releases" discussion board, which, rather explicitly, states, no talking about rips. Whenever the latest greatest track comes out everyone and there uncle goes and downloads a rip. A few of the "brighter" ones even make it very clear they did so.
and just "for-the-record" I think I had a grand total of 6 or 8 posts when they let me into EMC. Hardly exclusive I'm afraid.
I'd also conjecture that making a thread about new users asking for places to "dee-l" is drawing a fair amount of attention to the subject. |

Listen , Riaa can kiss my ass.
I wrote a letter to the RIAA and asked them to sue me becouse i download music.
Ok they wrote me back, saying they will sue me, so then i asked them, why do you wanna sue me ? they said becouse i stealing money from the artists, becouse i d/l they music instead of buying the cd.
So then i asked them , how can i steal money if i can not buy the stuff on cd what im d/l , they asked me, " what do you mean ?"
I told them , i own so many dj live sets from parties what was broadcasted on radio in Holland,UK,Germany, they couldnt do anything
So i think if you dl Mp3 whats live sets from parties, thats not illegal

Doesn't mean you wont be breaching copyright law though, which is what RIAA sues for.
Me personally, I get more annoyed and cringe when the opening line of a new thread is OMFG!!!! I DIE!!! TUNAGE !!!! THIS OWNZ !!! rather than someone who doesn't know any better asking for dload links

I dont think people should wet themselves over TA's in training asking for download sources. Like others have said, they're new and dont know the ropes yet. It wasnt long ago that file-sharing wasnt a forbidden subject on these boards.
It seems to me to be the people who managed to find out what they wanted to know before the new rule that flame everybody else. A year ago, when you asked for sources, somebody would help you out. Now its the same people who asked a year ago flaming n00b's when they ask the same question. It's out of order. A simple PM to them would do the trick, instead of flaming them loudly in these threads to try and make yourselves look big.
Personally, I think that most of the people who demand everybody buy the music are indeed downloading it, they just use a different name on the hubs so no-body recognizes them. A bit hypocritical in my eyes.
A sticky thread would be a good idea, explaining that there isnt any file-sharing discussions going on, and why. That really needs to be cleared up with a lot of people I think.

I like the self righteous who never claim to D/L music, just like they never admit to playing with themselves! :nervous: Music's out there and it's free baby. Artists, in turn, use the internet for free advertising. Even though it's free, it's not easy to find decent tunes and 95% of the stuff I D/L is only worth about a 5-10 sec listen anyhow before it goes to the Recycle Bin! Lmao! :D

| wow some serious hipocrates in here..well the only reason the more experienced TA's dont talk about downloads is because they know where to download already like the hub n stuff so no need to ask..but if there was no hub..i am sure many would be cryin right about now..i remember when AG shut down all TA's were panicing and cryin and discussing alternatives very openly..if u r a newbie and u see a 10 page discussion about a track like oceanlab-satellite that everyone got a rip of from ASOT..offcourse they would wanna hear it and so ask where we get it..plz people dont be hipocrates..if u wanna help PM'em with help info...if u dont then shut up..dont act like u r good an mighty. |
