pvd is a good producer, okay dj.
ATB is getting pretty good lately too. I respect him for that just like I respect all DJs who strive to improve.

atb's 'gentle melody' was another amazing tune off of his 'atm'
album. anyways, re the beef: i honestly think atb is doing this
purposely in order to get fans to favor and respect him more which
will ultimately make paul look like the "bad guy." can't you see
what he is doing, he is maniupulating us into thinking that paul
is this arrogant bastard who only cares about himself (which i don't
agree with by the way). people are already sympathizing with andre
as we speak. one way he is getting people to favor him more is by
having them cast their vote in for andre as "America's # 1 DJ"
(yeah, i know... many other djs are doing this as well -- but this
applies specifically to this situation). and its rather funny how
paul hasn't said a single word regarding this whole deal. do you
actually think that paul gives crap about andre? i mean, come
on ... he has better things to do than play these foolish child-like
games. and if you detested an individual as much as atb does paul,
why would you go around playing his music in your livesets...?
speaking of which, i just got through listening to a liveset from
atb's club-section via his website www.atb-music.com
entitled "Radio-Mix 'Spring 2003'" in which he plays the vandit club
mix of 'nothing but you.' if you loathed someone that has dissed
you repetedly in public and elsewhere as paul has, you wouldn't go
around playing his tunes no matter how much you respect him
musically. after much thorough investigation of this topic, i have
come up with what i feel are the two most logical explanations to
this problem: 1) the both of them are actually in cohoots to see how
the public / media will respond to this and 2) atb is just pissed
that he wasn't the # 1 german dj after tijs which has made him
even more determined to surpass paul (by any means necessary!).
you can think i'm cuckoo or not, but this is what i truly feel is
nearest to the truth. *x-files theme goes off (do do do do, dan dan
dan).

long time ago I remember an ATB track was my fav at that time...forgot it was called, but it was very popular...but now i've listened to his latest album (i think) and it was TOTAL . Paul Oakenfold did even better with his bunkaa album.

Totally. I love what guys like Oliver Lieb and Paul Van Dyk do. I hate that ATB and those sorts of people have prostituted this stuff. You listen to an ATB track and then you listen to Sasha, and the difference is as obvious as listening to Led Zeppelin and Rachmaninoff.

Andre Tannenberger. The single best DJ alive. Better than Oakenfold and Tiesto. Creates some of the best music I've ever heard in my life, and I listen to a *lot* of music. All four of his CDs are highly recomended.
I saw ATB last night in Ibiza, and it was amazing. Unfortunately, it was a dream because I don't have enough money to fly to Ibiza. |
