smoking is just wrong and it's dangerous. Now the idea behind it if it only hurts the person practicing such habbit, i wouldn't mind. BUT the idea behind smoking is 2nd hand smoking. 2nd hand smoking is the leading source for lung cancer and other lung related disases. I personally would hate to get that cuz some idiot or a few idiots who don't give two s about their lives smoke.

so now clubbing is purely for smokers? that discremenates alota ppl. mainly the non smokers.
THIS IS EXACTLY why the government is supporting this cause. It's all based on having this nation as a free country. I'm free to club but as long as it's filed with 2nd hand smoke, the chances of me suffering from the side effects are greater.
now think about it very simply. this isn't rocket science |

| the funny thing is...most people I know who don't smoke don't really care about smoke being in the bars. They might not like to smoke themselves, but they certainly don't whine like you lot. |

I don't think I've ever heard anything so ignorant in my entire life.
Come talk to me when someone in your family dies of second hand smoke, having never smoked a cigarette before in their life. Then try arguing that they should have "ing gone somewhere else."

ACTUALLY...the government is supporting it because roughly 70% of Ontarians don't smoke and supporting this cause will give them more votes. They don't give a flying about people's health...they tax the out of alcohol and cigarettes. They couldn't survive without it. |

and I don't think I've talked with so many ing whiney people in my life. And I have lost people close to me from cancer...as have most of us. |

u seem to be missing the point Smitty.
drugs only hurt the ppl who use them AS LONG AS they abuse them. moderate drug use is not gonna kill u. Actually, i look at drugs differenty than smoking. Drugs are very useful if used for health related problems. Not so legal drugs are harmful only if abbused. Moderate drug use only will affect the person using them
ON THE OTHER HAND
smoking doesn't only hurt the person using the tobacco, but the rest of the ppl in the area. Please quit being somewhat ignorant to this fact and try to picture urself as a non smoker. |
