FEATURE DJ BIOGRAPHY: DJ REVERSE
A.J. Beltran, also known as Reverse, got his early start out on the West Coast until he came to Chicago. With over 20 years experience behind the decks, Reverse is an expert in every sense of the word. With a specialty for playing hip hop, hard techno, UK hard house, hard techno filter, hard trance, drum n bass, and ghetto techno. Reverse is definitely a crowd favorite. Reverse has attained many accomplishments and was most recently voted best Club/Dance DJ in 2004 from Madpoison's DJ Beatdown Contest. He beat out some strong competition, and still stays on top by involving the crowd with his flair, personality, and his vast selection of music. Known for his dedication and enthusiasm for finding the best sounding music, you can catch him scouring through a stack of vinyl at Gramaphone Records, a mainstay for the best Chicagoland DJ's for over 30 years, located on the north side of Chicago. Reverse has already published some of his mixes here in Chicago, including the well known "licker", with much more coming in the near future. In 2004, Reverse founded his own record label, Spankin Muzik Records. He coordinated events at several venues here in Chicago and San Fracisco and have booked and worked with talents such as Sin City's DJ KrisCut, 102.7 KIIS FM'S DJ Shy, DJ HeavyGrinder and DJ Agent A. With his love for creating music in the forefront, his goal is to create and collaborate with only the best DJ/Producers the world has to offer. You can now hear him Chicago's Club KISS FM Friday and Saturday Nights mixing up the best hip-hop and house music for your ears! |

It can be good, depends who they have. Most of the side stages are paid for by the dj, so you never know. If you go there you have to remeber not to be up your ass with music elitism and just have a good time with friends. All and all its still new years and its about celebrating with your friends.
