Notice that there's nothing about WI in the forum title, nor on the list of covered states in the forum description:

I'd think that Minnesota should be listed up in there too, seeing as how they have just as large of a trance scene as Chicago does, just a lot more isolated.

Hello there,
I moved to madison last year after living in Arizona for awhile. I listen to music - can't really say i'm addicted to anything in particular but trance music does put me in a happy place. I don't know too many people who are hardcore into electronic music but I do agree that some that I have met are way too uptight about it. What the are some people so bitter about? I was telling my "friend" about going to WEMF and he was like, so you had to buy a ticket? So buying a ticket makes it less legit - I think that's what he was trying to say. Well, I had a kick ass time and I don't need to be around people who hide their jealousy behind criticism (but that's a whole 'nother thread!).

i'm about to get into DJing trance myself as well (gettin some tips from my friend Chris who spins @ Victor's - top 40/house/hip-hop & , but i'm sure he can help me with the basic skills). i gotta wait til i move to a new place to get any decks tho 'cause there is no room for them where i live right now.
oh yeah, as for spinning trance in Milwaukee... good luck with gigs. not many people in this city care for trance, unfortunately.
anyway, where in Milwaukee do you live? always nice to see more local TAs! :D |

whats up guys? im andy from weak-ass beaver dam. im a trance DJ too, but just a bedroom DJ for now. im just starting my senior year of HS... not too much else to say. oh by the way. am i the only one that noticed that like 5 or 6 people who said they were from wisco were only TAs in training. whats that about? seriously, someone sticky this thread up. we gotta encourage other wisco TAs out there to voice... |
