old school ta here, madison transplant (originally from nj!) and here for grad school for the next 4-5 years.. i dont have a lot of time to make party but it would be cool to meet fellow wisconsin TAs ! :toothless

i'm in the doctoral program for italian (literature/history/sociolinguistics)
it's a helluva lot different from nyc or berlin, but i really love madison. :happy2:
i didn't know people called it wisco, like crisco.. i have to adopt that one to sound more unwisco-like ! :tongue2

haha, yeah Madison is a great town... but definitely way different than NY (i'm also an east coast transplant - grew up in Westchester County, NY). glad to hear you're enjoying it though!
i live in Milwaukee, which is just over an hour east of Madison. not much happens around here as far as parties and shows go, but it'd be fun to come hang out with you in Madison sometime. |
