All I can say now is that the sound in Guv was E!!!!!!! Like someone forgot to plug in the Phazon or something.

I was going to stop by. Glad I didn't.

Same here, I'd been considering it. Sounds pretty much like the same old routine at the Guv, a reminder of why I can't be arsed to make the drive in these days.

Well, to those who did go, hope it was slightly more positive than the reviews would indicate. Pics anyone? :)

Dood! Go re-read my review.

Last night was awesome. Yes the guv was crowded - but Ferry's wikkid set made it all worth it.

That was one of the best nights ive had at guvy, ferry was just reading my mind and shreading it to pieces, banger after banger, just relentless.... all you fools that didnt' come missed out out on a 7 and a half hour set and he was bang on all night. Hard Trance, Trance, Electro, Techno and even a dirty house track, guvy was rammmed but things eased up a like 2 or 3.
Night 10/10
Ferry 16/10 The guy is amazing...
At the end he annouced hes coming back for Labour of love.
UWO Tranceaddict
That was one of the best guv nights ever.

Ferry played until 8:22am it was absolutely crazy at the end , the guv was still packed with the die hards.

Didnt see too many sketchbags. And ya it was crowded, but when is it not?

When he did the encore of Rock your body before the lights went on the crowd went nuts.

What a great in guy.

100/10 for all the whiners.

Completely Amazing Nite...for all those that said glad i didn't go...well you guys really missed out...guv was rammed as always...that aspect sucks, but me and my girlfriend moved our way around to find open gaps hear and there and sometimes actually had some breathing room. Anyways, Ronald Van Gelderen dropped a killer set...didn't know what to expect from him,but it rocked...it was wicked walking in guv at 11:30 and already a big dj on the decks!!! When he dropped Dreas - Havannah...I knew it would be a good nite!!! And wow, Ferry Kicked in Ass...Starting the Set with Kyoto and moving into solid globe - sahara, and then into kyau vs albert - velvet morning (aalto remix) Wow  Life Couldn't of been better at that point...3 phenominal tracks in a row...And lots of other great stuff throughout the nite. I was really happy he came on at a reasonable hour...so i didn't have to wait around the whole nite for him to come on. We left around 3- 3:30, so caught about half his set...definately enjoyed what we heared.

RVD - 10/10 (awsome warmup)
Ferry 10/10 (some mixes were cheap crossfades...but on the most part, great mixing and track selection)
Guv 5/10 (keeping people waiting for 20minutes so we had to pay $20 instead of $15 wasnt cool)

sounds like a good night. People should stop complaining about coat check line and how packed it was. THIS ALWAYS HAPPENS FOR SPECIAL EVENTS....just read the old threads. Sorry I couldn't be there guys but I know you all had a good time. See you soon.

That was the best nite ever at guv. ferry spins 8 hours. Although would of liked to hear MO too.

A few bad people in the crowd but I was happy.

Got to chill with Corsten while he was spinning and accidentally spilt champagne on his arm while trying to pour our glasses for a toast.

A big thanks to all who made it happen.

Amazing.

Ferry spun until 8:22 AM??? . !

MUSIC:
The music was ing amazing, no doubt about it. Kid Vicious's "opener" already had me going crazy. I think i heard that track which suposedly inspired Urban Train but can't remember the name! I must agree with everyone here - Ferry indeed kicked some ass.

Crowd/Venue:

See above posts! Very hot, air was unbreathable around 3. 'Had to chill on the patio for awhile to breathe in normal air and relax ('met a couple cool TA dudes @ the patio. Cheers waltermindz!) Meeting more tranceaddicts all around the place for the first time was pretty cool.

- - - -

To my dismay, when i called my friends from the patio around 4ish to check up on them they said they were all inside my car waiting for me. So what could I do... i left early. Hearing that Ferry kicked it until 8 AM when I left at 5 just disapoints me :whip:

Good set, pretty much the same crowd, nothing more can be said.

It was just me and my friend which made it much easier to meet all the cool people we did (I don't know how many TAs I talked to, but I was the guy with a mohawk & crazy hick side burns). To everyone I met, it was fun. To everyone I didn't meet, I'll probably see you at Decadence.
