Starting A Trance Production Site.. Any Interest?

Vert and I are starting a website site that will be dedicted solely to information about producing trance. We want to know if people are interested in writing tutorials, articles, and reviews of VSTis and gear.

well... there's serious-sounds... a producer forum that got tutorials and such...
but it's under upgrade now, so not much there atm |

not sure what u mean... but there is one site called www.generoproject.com which is basically ppl just producing songs and getting them rated, and lots of discussing in the forums...
lots of label managers hang out there aswell.. |

This would be a site that is directly targeted at the trance producer. It would have tutorials that are specific to trance, and would review different vsti's from a trance producers perspective. Now yes we realize that there are some resources out there which cover these things, but not from the perspective that I'm thinking of or with this ammount of integration.
I want things like.. how to create flow in trance songs, bass lines, making good kicks from scratch etc.

Well, get the *%@# to work then. I'd be happy to contribute in any way I can, I am such a taker, time to give.
I can send some demos of my works if you would like reassurance that I don't suck and know what i'm talking about. |

| I always enjoy writing tutorials and would help out as often as I could. I've usually found sites like this to be pretty useless as there hasn't been any info that really helps me out personally, so I like the premise. If you can build up a lot of material before lauching the site I think this could be really good. |

Yes, content is very important to catch the eye of the people.
I am also fluent in PHP programming, so if you want some functionality out of this site I could definatly help integrate some server side scripting. |

We would need a full backend, Rob might be able to do some, but he said he has limited time. Can you do that?

| Well, Besides working i have about 3 days fully free during the week. I guess I could bump my production days down to 2. Scripting use to be a main passion of mine. its been about a year though, but I can do it for sure. Before I sign my life away, the server must be fully up to date for PHP and MySQL. You would also need to list for me all the functions you wish the site to have, eg: User Accounts, Admin Accounts, Site control panel, User Rating systems, Forums(i dont think a forum is necessary truly), etc etc. Then Ill tell you what I can and cant do. |
