Haven't seen many movies lately.
Prozac Nation was really good. Hit a bit close to home as well, but I won't go into that... So really could identify with it, probably why I liked it heaps. (no, im not on antidepressants :p) |

| the last movie that made an impression on me (apart from the obvious :p ) was garden state. thought it was intelligent and it felt a lot realer than most flicks. 4.5 stars :) |

yeah cant believe i almost missed this one. its one of my all time fav movies now. cant exactly pinpoint why though. the ending scene with frou frou's 'let go' is a killer... how perfect is it? |

went to see war of the worlds yesterday night..
wasnt bad, but not that great either
predictable at times and the conveniently disturbing happy ending (almost too happy to be believed)
fwiw, for that moment when the tripod graces the screen, that was pure awesomeness!!

mr and mrs smith one of the test movies ever.
i saw war of the worlds the other night, and the end kinda hit me abruptly, didnt like it that way.. the buildup was damn fine though. |
