hahah yeah I didn't mind it at all.. Transformers certainly made me hard for machinery!
Rachel Taylor the aussie was ing annoying in that movie though :P The other chick was rather hot... for a girl! :tongue3 |

pan's labyrinth (spain, english subtitles)
i grabbed this film coz it got ridiculously good reviews the world over, and then later on i found out it had a fantasy theme so thought id give it a look.
this is a fairy tale that is dark and disturbing and pretty graphic to boot. lots of squeemish scenes for those of you that are a little bit girly (like yours truly). it was a beautiful looking film, but i was disappointed with the lack of fantasy in the overall narrative. not that the real-world stuff wasn't really good too, but i was kind've expecting more. the backdrop of fascist spain was all well and good, but that's not what i bought the movie for. having said that though, the brutal reality in which this movie exists was great to see, you dont see this stuff very often thats for sure!
a great work of cinema, just a little light on the fairy tale for me.
3.5 fairies out of 5.
