| just funny how he wears a no war shirt when germany voted not to act against iraq may it had smomething to do with the fact they had billions of oil for food scandal being investigated in the un ...why not speak out against terrorist and islamic jihad which is way more dangerous right now....Sadamm had every chance to avaert war bush even gave him 48 hours to surrender before we went in not to mention the 12 years he shot at our pilots flying over no fly zones....my point is why no speak out against terrorism??? hey frost im gonna have some ncc"ers point you out and beat your ass in person |

I like how you mesh one individual - Paul van Dyk - together with an entity over which he has no control - the German government - and blame them both non-exclusively of each other for events over which the individual German has no control.

I'm sure PvD doesn't want to get THAT MUCH into politics. He has no responsibility to speak out against anything. Since when are DJ's political spokesmen? (Look what happened to the Dixie Chicks lol) He doesn't even SPEAK OUT against war. He wore a ing shirt. FFS I could wear a shirt that says "I'M A LESBIAN WITH A DICK" and what the hell would that mean? All PvD does is spin music.

Saddam Hussein terrorized his people. The first principle of politics is that a leader will do anything to keep himself in power. Yea, surrendering to the US would really have helped him stay in his "throne"...

ok your saying he doesnt need to speak out on every political issue but he is speaking out against the war in iraq! and it wasnt just his shirt i read interviews with him and then he comes to america and makes mad $$$ charging $40 a set wtf? he should be kissing americas ass we make him rich and give him a very good life lets see him spin in palestine and syria, jordan, lebanon, see what happens to him.....He is a dj he wants to talk politics fine talk german politics not american politics unless he wants to become a citizen until then he should stfu |

Since America has shoved its ass into every single country's domestic politics (oh wait, USA, I think you missed a little spot over there by New Zealand...) I think every citizen of the WORLD has the right to talk politics about the US. Especially since the US has cornered every country into two labels: ally or enemy. There is no in between: you're either with us or against us. What a wonderful foreign policy.
And what is your point again? PvD has no influence whatsoever on German policy unless he maybe throws a wad of cash at the political rulers in Germany. Let him wear the freaking shirt if he wants. Let him spin trance. Whatever. Honestly, I'M gonna be the one who saves the world anyway, so PvD really has no significance in my master plan.
And by the way, if you're pro-American like you seem to be, you should be quite happy the forces of capitalism that America perfected are working in PvD's favor to bring him $40 per person per set in the US.
