interessting for me as a german guy to read this...
...I m against war - more and more people are killed for nothing...
...I think it isn t possible just to go to another country (with an other culture and another way life) and to say them how to life.
...Theses people there get really mad and will hate the USA more...
...than they start to fight back with Terrorism (like they did last week) |

Agreed. There is no reason why America should go and push our way of life on other cultures. If they wanted to live like us, they would have mad the changes on their own. This is what I mean by the US sticking it's nose where it doesn't belong too often. Our government should just concentrate on how to improve our country and deal with the domestic troubles that we have like poverty and like that. Just cut off major ties with other countries and let them fend for themselves. Let's worry about improving ourselves before we try to impose our culture on other places. |

| another major concern that could help solve this situation: stop the use of fossil fuels - this of course requires research which requires funding. we have the funding available except it's spent on wars to obtain fossil fuels and fossil fuel contracts (*cough* iraq war) |

| heh if i'm not mistaken the monroe doctrine was written in the early 1800s by the US to tell europeans to keep their hands off of the ongoings of the western hemisphere... surprised that countries elsewhere in the world haven't told us the same thing... i wouldn't be surprised if they did (kinda wouldn't mind it either). |

for the record..... slavery was long since abolished in most european countries.... The states were far behind on that one...... and for the rest of the stuff you wrong on ill let other people point out.... |

1)japan= great allies we decimated them 50 years ago in war help rebuild there country
2)germany=west germany 1945 then eastern germany in 1990 with ronald reagans massive campaign against communism remember "the evil empire"???
3)russia= Reagans relentless campaign when democrats thought we were going to have world war 3 ...reagan had the guts to call it what it was an evil empire ...but was a master negotiator and skillfully showed gorbachev the wonders of FREEDOM!
4)China= still communist but they cannot resist the tide of freedom sweeping thru i give it 5-10 years
5)bosnia= ethnic cleasing civil war sweeping thru country in 98 mass murder of muslims by christians....ethnic cleasing and genocide....today both cultures live together in democracy
