This isn't a personal attack against you, it's just I'm sick of hearing people blaming "me" for what's going on over there. Mind you I'm of French-American nationality so try and imagine how much people give me from both sides?! ( I wish I was neither nationality in all honesty )
And for your info there's more then 10 different countries on Iraqi soil as we speak, and 50+ countries around the world that support it. BUT in most cases it is not the people's opinion, it's politics.

hmm i think some germans invented the automobile. henry ford only invented the assembly line to make car production faster.
electricity isn't really an invention. it's a natural phenomenon. maybe ben franklin was one of the first people to harness it, but u can't invent electricity.
u wish u knew your communist china politics. take some classes on chinese history and politics before u wax philosoph about it. i have and i can tell u there's no way that the chinese will forego communism. they might adopt capitalist economics but the government will remain in place.
ending the cold war/communism led to us getting into the mess that the united states found itself in. u know how? by helping the afghans stand up to the ussr in the 1980s. and guess what? the rebels who kicked the ussr out, had nothing better to do than to come together and form the basic beginnings of the group we call al-qaeda? don't believe me? read around.

your absolutly right we did help the afghans defeat the russians lol you actually helped prove my point how we help nations who need us..now how is it our fault they betrayed us? ..heres the real deal osama bin laden felt western influence was corrupting islamic culture he felt the saudi arabian goverment was selling out the culture for oil $$ and more than anything else they were pissed about us backing israel over palestine! Are you going to tell me all these nations that were once under communist rule especially poland,chech,east germany and russia want to go back that way? and yes china are definitly going to have to accept capitalitistic ideals !! but they will not be able to suppress the peoples will for freedom as capitalism spreads and deepens so will the desire to be free this is what happened in eastern europe.. reagan was smart enough to reconinize this and he spoke directly to the masses ..it wont happen overnight but it will sooner or later .who ever thought russia would be |

then u sir, are trying to change history :eyespop:. it's unfortunate that the US history books fail to mention little details or fail to omit big parts altogether (how about the "chinamen" working on the US railroads in the late 1800s? that was ALMOST as bad as slave labor but isn't really touched on in the american history books), but i digress. history is always from a certain point of view, it's time for people to expand their horizons.
the point i was making is that the US shouldn't be trying to overextend itself in world politics... it's created disastrous results other than fomenting al-qaeda, and pretty recently too (remember black hawk down?) i fear certain regions of iraq will become chaotic. i appreciate what troops are doing there. why not show our love EVEN MORE by getting them out of there ALIVE? their job is done. bush wanted saddam out, he's out. bush couldn't find saddam's WMD nor establish a solid connection btwn alqaeda and iraq... why not let other regions hash out their differences
themselves?
